Cakes by Crystal knocked it out of the park yet again. We got a cake and cupcakes for our daughters birthday and it was a huge success. Kids and parents loved it. I had to call dibs on the last cupcake so I could have one. All the parents asked for her info for future orders.

Crystal made the cake for my mother-in-laws surprise birthday party. She was very responsive and professional and the cake was such a hit. Not only did it look just like the photo that I provided for reference, it tasted great too! The cost was also very, very reasonable. All around, I was very happy with the final product and would not hesitate to use her if in the area!

I was supposed to go by and pick up samples, I lost track of time and missed the pickup. That’s my fault and not her problem. But I never from then on received any response to voicemails left, or any of the emails I sent. My last email asking if there was no longer an opportunity/interest to complete my cake for my wedding. Complete radio silence. I used her for my first wedding and she was phenomenal but this is truly upsetting for one small mistake to be completely ignored and not communicated to. Which is sad considering she does a great job otherwise.

When we did our tasting, we had chosen 3 different vendors - something everyone told us was a mistake as we would have to many choices and it would be hard to narrow down. And while each and every bakery was delicious - at the end of the day, there simply was no contest - we had 7 people at the tasting with us - and EVERY SINGLE PERSON hands down selected Crystal as the best of the best. Her attention to detail, her willingness to make the design my daughter wanted work for us within our budget, and the amazing moist, delicious, and beautiful cake she created to fit our vision - every step was beyond perfect. The compliments we received throughout the reception are only a tiny testament to the truly wonderful experience we had working with Crystal. I simply cannot recommend highly enough, it was pure joy!

Crystal's incredible cakes have been part of some monumental occasions for us. We first requested that she make a gender reveal cake a couple of years ago, which was so delicious and so beautiful that we have gotten a cake from her for each birthday since. She is very responsive by email and can turn pretty much any picture we send into exactly what we're looking for. She is incredibly talented and her prices are in line with other larger bakeries in the area. I think we've gotten almond for every cake and cupcake we've ordered - always with rave reviews. I genuinely look forward to being surprised by her creations as much as I enjoy eating the cake. It makes cutting into the artwork a little more bearable. We've commissioned her to do some 70th birthday cupcakes for us next month and my mouth is already watering!

So my wife ordered a moana cake for my daughters 1st birthday. Let’s just say what we ordered looked nothing like what we received. We were very disappointed in the cake. She said communication with crustal was great and pick up was easy but I would not get another cake made from her.
