The food there has always been good, however, their service is sub par, they only expect cash, and they are very short with customers....their food was good on my first visit, however got some food yesterday, fried crabs to be exact AND THEY FRIED THEM TOO LONG. It was hard to get the meat outta the shell because of overcooking.
Oh my God, the biggest and best oysters I've had in a long time. I never would have thought they would have come out of a place like this. My wife loves fried crabs and we have tried them at many places but Chen's Garden is absolutely the best place we have discovered for fried crabs. They are very consistent and put out delicious fried crabs with a nice thick breading every time. Besides being delicious the crabs are also reasonably priced.Chen's is your typical Chinese takeout restaurant located in Liberty Plaza shopping center in SoNo. There is no dining room so this is strictly a takeout restaurant....
