After hearing good things and reading reviews about Chesapeake Pizza, my husband and I decided to try it out tonight. Soooo glad we did! We were sat quickly and our server was very nice and attentive. Restaurant was clean and booths were comfortable. We both ordered a pizza, he ordered the 14 inch pizza for himself and I ordered a 12 inch. We each ate half and boxed up the other half. Love the crust and the amount of toppings they put on. They definitely do very easy pizza sauce so if you’re one that likes sauce, I’d recommend you ask for extra sauce on your pizza. We will definitely be ordering from there again….finally found a really good pizza place so close to home!

The friday we went was very busy. We were seat fairly quickly, but our waitress did not come for our orders for 15 mintues. Additionally the AC either had problems, or it just wasnt low enough. It was very very warm. Pizza was great. Atmosphere was pretty good and very lively. It is obviously a good place that a lot of people like to come to.

Needs a jukebox. And a pinball machine or 2. This place is like going back in time to the 1980's. Only accepts cash no cards. Drink selection is limited. Not much but pizza so not huge selection choice like some places. But maybe that's why they get it right. Been going since I was a kid.
We were hoping to relive one of my childhood favorite pizza places to leave somewhat disappointed with the pizza. We got the Chesapeake Special and a pepperoni. Both crusts were great. No problems there. The pepperoni was OK but the sauce had no flavor. But something was extremely salty. I assume.it.was the cheese blend. It was too much. Both pizzas were that way. The special the only thing you could really taste was the bell pepper. Beyond that, just salt and crust. The pizza wasn't terrible, but compared to similar style pizza, like Orapax, it didn't compare. The service was solid and they did a.good.jpb cleaning the place up without losing the original vibe I remember.
