This past Sunday my family visited the establishment to close out our family reunion, we arrived at 930 most of the food was out while awaiting the other dishes, some of the food was luke warm while others cold. The server at the door was pleasant but busy she was trying to hold down the front and get our drinks and other items required like syrup, etc. The lady doing the scripture was unexpected but she delivered the word. Towards the end we had a few late comers, but as they approached the bar to get their food some of the workers rushed through the line to get what they could before the customers who had paid which was not good and most of my family was traveling far so a full stomach would have helped. I was embarrassed and not happy, will not be coming back again or referring to my family for our upcoming events.

I didn’t even get to experience the food because the customer service walking through the door was terrible and unacceptable. There were two lines and it was very confusing as to where we were supposed to stand. After moving to the front, I was able to ask one of the workers what the process was for dining in as most of the people in line were getting to go food. She said to just stand there and someone would help us. She then told the lady working the front counter/register that they had a couple dining in and she proceeded to say ok well they just gonna have to wait. I’m like oh ok. So we stood there for another couple minutes before I told my husband what she said and he was like let’s go. My husband and I are big on customer service and to not even be greeted when we walked in was strike number one. I can definitely go elsewhere and spend my money. Good food or not. I’m not sure that we will give it another chance. We had to drive 30 mins just to get there. Hopefully yall will do better going forward. God bless.
Food was great. The choices were just right and me and my family left happy.

The food was great and hearty! The fried chicken was cooked to perfection! The servers were kind and the cook came from the kitchen to ask how our meal was. Will definitely visit again!!

The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because i felt i could have used more options for me someone who diesnt eat beef or pork. They had baked chicken and shrimp which was excellent. Hopefully they can add fish or lamb in the future.

Wife saw this place on fb wanted to try it tired of fast food over priced an nasty but this place here was the truth real soul food like grandma make good price in worth it we will return you won’t get better soul food them
A client recommended this place and I've been trying to get here for weeks! The food was GREAT and the staff are very kind. I gave it 4 stars because there isn't much variety for meat - they have some fried fish, fried chicken, baked chicken, and liver. When I think of a buffet, I think of a place with lots of food options.
I do love that everything is home cooked and they are very mindful of germs/cleanliness. If you're craving soul food this is the place to go!

Great Food & Even Greater Hospitality!
I went today with my two cousins on a Thursday afternoon around 5:30 pm. They close at 7 pm, but even when it was getting close to closing (around 6:45 pm), they never rushed us. The owner herself came over to greet us with such a warm and pleasant manner, making sure we were happy with everything...such a nice personal touch 👍🏽.
The food? Absolutely delicious! The only tiny critique is that the cabbage was a little salty, but every other dish we tried was packed with flavor. And the cornbread? Oh my goodness...it was like cake, soft and melt-in-your-mouth good 😋.
This might just become my new go-to spot (though probably not too often, only because dinner was a bit on the pricey side). For the three of us, it came to $61 plus a 15% tip, totaling just over $70—about $20+ per person. Still, for fresh, home-cooked-tasting food with that kind of flavor and service, it was worth every penny!
