Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Understaffed. Took 45 minutes to get food. Grandchild threw up twice. Let staff know, but was never cleaned up. Towels were placed to cover it up, however there were two large areas. We left 15 minutes later, and still not cleaned up.

The Chesapeake VA CB was terrible! Food not cooked properly, served the wrong order and the dining room was dirty and dusty. We love Cracker Barrel, but not this location.

Ordered the chicken tenders, based on the picture on the menu. Looked big and tasty. What I got was 3 pieces about an inch wide and three that were thinner than my finger and all about 2.5 inches long. Not really worth the $13.69 we paid. Our server took our order (after a 15 minute wait) then disappeared. Another server had to come take over. Not the best visit we've had there but unfortunately become more the norm.

Absolutely the worst meal I’ve ever gotten at a Cracker Barrel. Service was great. But the change in the chicken recipe was awful. Literally all breading and no chicken. The catfish was greasy. Unfortunately, neither my husband nor myself ate our meal. Never going to another Cracker Barrel again. Too many other options.

Came in late (around 9:00 pm). Muffins hard and cold; pot roast was kind of hard…all meat, very little mashed potatoes) but the rest of the food was fine.

Placed a pick up order using the CB app for breakfast with est ready time at 1054. Arrived at the restaurant at 1058 and checked in stating I was in X vehicle and in Y parking spot. At 1110, still have not received my order. Went inside to speak with the cashier who was very polite and stated my purpose. She radioed back to check and said it should be out shortly. While inside, wife asked to switch spots since my daughter had to use the restroom. Waited outside in my vehicle with my son for an additional 10 mins until the food was brought out at 1123.

Not sure if my case was a “one off” but would have appreciated a more accurate pick up time.

This Cracker Barrel is terrible! We ordered take out and waited almost an hour past promised time to get food. We had to stand near the entrance to the kitchen and force someone to speak with us. Half of the order was missing and the steak was so overcooked that hockey puck would have been a better description. Only good thing was that they promised to refund the entire meal. We will never go to this Cracker Barrel again!
