Love the vibe here, live music on certain days however, to charge an 18-20% to dine in I expect awesome service but the servers falls short every time which is highly disappointing! The food is ok, I return for the experience, it is a vibe! Just wished the arrogance amongst the staff would tone down, the owner is way down to earth everyone should follow suite. Just my observation. Wish they would consider bringing back the plantain nachos and sweet potato fries they were both...
The happy hour deal is the way to go before 6 PM; especially if you’re going with friends. The lamb chops were delicious, the coconut shrimp yummy, the beef patties had a little bit of Zip, shrimp tacos were good, and the Jamaican jerk chicken needed a bit more flavor. The piña colada‘s and daiquiri very tasty.
We didn't go on a night with the band. We sat at the bar. This place is way overpriced. They attempted to add 18% gratuity to each of our bills, so we decided to combine them. I was totally fine with the drink prices, but for what we ordered and to have a 277 bill! I could have gone to a high end restaurant. The 2 bartenders were busy, so service could have been better. This was my first and likely last visit.
