Me and my wife went there for breakfast. I ordered an omelette with no tomato and they still gave me tomato. My wife asked for a side of biscuits and gravy and gave us a whole plate of biscuits and gravy. The food was okay. I'm pretty sure my omelette was also supposed to have bacon in it since it was the meat lovers omelette but I didn't see any. I tried to get a Belgian waffle but they said they only had pancakes. I thought pancakes and waffles were used at the same stuff but waffles were put in a press.

This place is absolutely terrible. I’ve tried going to this place for breakfast 3 times and have yet to be served.. they always have an excuse, first it was that they only had one cook and were too busy however place wasn’t even half full, then the last time I went there they claimed the cook didn’t show up… kinda funny because people were inside sitting down eating.. this place is an absolute joke and waist of time. I will not be giving it another thought. I hope they go out of business
Ordered the Western omelette and biscuit; French toast, eggs, grits, and sausage patties. The food was made to order. It was delicious. The omelette was packed with ham, sausage, veggies, and cheese. Light and fluffy. The biscuit was grilled , different, but delicious still. French toast had a hint of nutmeg and evenly cooked. Not eggy or mushy. Sprinkled with confectioners sugar. Nicely browned. Perfect texture. The grits were just right FOR US- not too thick or thin. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The owner/waiter/cook was attentive and nice. Definitely will come back!

My 1st time but definitely not my last! This is a family owned restaurant with good customer service. Whatever you do, get the SWEET POTATO PANCAKES!! ? They were GRRRREAT; much better than the regular pancakes!! I had the pancake platter w/ 2 eggs scrambled w/chz, bacon & grits! The pricing was absolutely worth it! The only thing they didn’t have was an Arnold Palmer… BUT… “Unc” went into the Welch’s juice stash & personally got an Orange- Pineapple juice just for me!
Dropped my car off for service, said it was going to be a few hours. Walked 1.6 miles to eat here because it’s the closest breakfast place. Online says it’s open, on their posted hours said it’s open, and it’s closed. If a business is so lazy to not update their hours, can’t imagine the food would be any good anyways.
First and foremost I want to say this place has by far the best corn beef hash I’ve ever had and the pancakes are so good I had to eat it slow up until my last bite. Will be returning! ❤️
This is a black owned family business that I found by mistake honestly. I asked for suggestions and the cook said sweet potato pancakes. Now I’ve never had that before but, I was intrigued. For one all came out quickly and was made to order. Those pancakes are the truth. I tried to get the recipe lol. The eggs, Turkey bacon and hash browns ( not pictured) also tasty and scrumptious. Glad I went to the gym prior to my arrival because let me tell you this ain’t calorie counting food lol.I had to update this review. Now while I won’t be back to dine in, I may get a pick up order. The reason being the owner who takes the orders is a older man ( by older I’m thinking in his sixties) who needs to have a better demeanor and presentation to those who appear younger than him. Now I’m in my 40’s and look younger but listen that’s not my concern, treat everyone the same. His disposition is rude.

We decided to change a little bit and visit this breakfast place on Sunday morning. We were greeted with - “ They are 13 people in front of you” . I thought it was a joke at the first moment. They left us hang by the door. We did not know should we seat ourselves or wait for someone. My 3 years old went ahead and picked a table. We sat with no menus. No one came to take our drink order. We waited and waited and the employees were moving slow and ignoring us. They were 10 people total sitting at the moment in the restaurant besides us. Very disappointing especially when you are with a child. Unacceptable and rude!!!!!I would not recommend this breakfast restaurant to anyone.
Our visit was on a rainy, cold Sunday morning. We were warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant by the chef and server. I ordered the pancake combo with, two eggs over hard, grits and turkey sausage. My friend ordered the French toast combo with scrambled eggs, grits and sausage. Large portion size and very tasty food that reminds me of home cooking. This is a small establishment with friendly staff and wholesome, good food.
I stumbled up on this location. I read the reviews and decided to have a bite with my dude. So walking in, staff was very welcoming. Sat down and had coffee fresh pot was made btw ?. So my dude arrived and we ordered my guy is a country man. He cooks his food a certain type of way. So he was explaining how he wanted his eggs prepared the waiter made me feel like I was asking too much and it wasn't me asking. Btw prior to my dudes arrival he was plugging me on how he hopes that they get a crowd bcuz he needed the money. I say all that to say this..if you're trying to get money just accommodate without making it seem like it is a big deal...even if it is...we tipped handsomely..Food was ok not what I hoped..I want to try lunch next time...stand by for my long winded critique.
