El Puente Mexican Grill

The food at El Puente Mexican restaurant is ok. If you are in the area and want to visit, do so, but you will not be overwhelmed. We order tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas which were decent. The sauce on the flautas wasn't that good, but I've had better. The prices in this restaurant are reasonable and the staff is quite responsive & attentive. Large parties are welcome, as a large one was celebrating a birthday bash. Overall, El Puente is ok.

I called in 2 orders of pollo loco when I arrived Samuel the manager who took my order over the phone put in for the wrong thing some kind of burrito and when I told him that’s not what I asked for he asked me what should he do with the food they made that I didn’t ask for insinuating that I just just pay for it and take it. I told him it’s up to him what to do with that food but I’m not paying for it. He then proceeds to tell me he was not going to make the food I actually asked for. He tried to argue with me and say I ordered a burrito when I did not and wanted me to buy the food I did not order and refused to make what I actually asked for. communication barriers seem to be a big issue at this establishment. You were going to waste the food anyways because I didn’t want it and was not going to pay for it and you chose to lose more money and not make the food I asked for, that’s just bad business.

It is truly a family friendly restaurant that makes you feel welcomed and provides expeditiously fast service. The managers walks around to each table to ensure the food is up-to-par. The drinks are is amazing, the food is fresh and authentic. Definitely this best experience since leaving Texas.
