Stayed in the area on the way down to OBX. This place was 5 mins from the hotel so decided to give it a try. It was great! Chips and white/red salsa were so of the best I ever had. The dinner positions were huge, delicious and fair priced. Definitely will be coming back.

Thanks for the delicious meal and great service, even with our large group. The Micheladas with Modelo Negro were so savory and good.

Food was delicious but the waitress because of the language barrier had an issue what a few different things she took food away that I wanted to put in a container and didn't even apologize.. And I gave her a $50 gift card that I had one that I wanted to use and when I called to find out why they only charged 40 on it they decided they were taking a tip without my permission. I would have given the tip either way but the fact that they tried to take it and didn't tell me that kind of irritated me but I guess some places do that but I don't find that acceptable.

This is my second time coming to this restaurant, and very much enjoyed my first experience. After spending $50 on a takeout order, I asked Samuel for extra sauce for my burrito and pico for my chips. He said he would have to charge. Shocked, I asked if I would have to pay as a dine in order - he said no because I would have paid for a soda. I asked him how much the sauce was that he said I could only pay cash for, and he said ā€œit depends are you asking nicely?ā€ I literally could not believe my asking for sauce ruffled his feathers so much so, but now I understand that he was just trying to pocket the cash from the sale as he refused to charge me when I asked for my receipt. I’m super disappointed people like this choose hospitality industry when they have ZERO care for people. Samuel, enjoy the sauce my guy.

This was a new place for us, but we have friends who have gone and said it was their favorite. The food was good, but they went extra on the pepper seasoning for everything. Our waiter was fine, and we had no other complaints other than the over seasoning of all the food.

I was hesitant about eating some Tex-Mex away from home (Houston TX), I’ve made that mistake before! Although, I seen they had a Mocajete on the menu and I had to try it, so I went. I walked in without judgment and got a table, they brought me chips and salad and as soon as I ate some, I was feeling good about this place, the chips were crunchy and the sauce was a little spicy.

I ordered a large beer and the Mocajete and let me tell you something, this thing was bigger than I expected and it had a good amount of meat in it. I couldn’t finish it at all, it’s definitely a meal for two!

Long story short, this place is definitely Houston TX and South TX Tex-Mex.

If you live in this area, you have a Gem and should enjoy this place.

Food is really good. Service is great. I ordered a to-go order for my fiancĆ©e and they charge a to-go fee. This cost them 2 stars and I will probably never return. I don’t believe in nickel and dimeing customers.
