El Puente Mexican Grill

Nice small Mexican restaurant. Got take out. Wasn't busy and was kinda quiet. I got the chimichanga dinner. No cheese, double rice. Wife got the Degollado Special. Chicken, peppers, rice and cheese. Food was awesome and prepared quickly. 5th time eating from here and will be back.

Food is good . The guy handling the chips when we was there was using his bear hands to put them in the trays . Then same guy was pushing the trash down in kitchen as well with his hands without washing them . So we did not eat the chips . Other than that the kitchen food was good . Just no chips for us !!! Use the Scoop they provide NOT your hands !!!!

Got the Don Jose Burrito. Did NOT disappoint! But the $2+ charge for avocado sucked. Not about it. It put me over the $20 mark.

This place, while in a construction clogged area (temporary but impacting as of 2025), is well worth the trip. The food is always amazing, the atmosphere inviting, the staff welcoming. Always a solid choice of you want delicious Mexican food and great service. Friendly local note: concerning traffic while construction is going on, go between opening (11 or 11:30) to 11:50am-ish, 12:30pm to 4pm, or 6:30pm to closing and it won't be so bad, in my experience.

My family loves the El PUENTE Grill. I've been to the western branch and deep creek locations and they both deserve high marks. Excellent food, service and atmosphere . I lived in Texas for 3yrs and every time I visit El Puente it takes me straight back to the smells and sounds of authentic Mexican family cuisine.
