The birria tacos were really good but the consumé was very watery and had ZERO flavor. The customer service was outstanding.

The food is delicious, and the service here is fantastic! Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant

Love this place!! This is my favorite place to eat Mexican food when I'm in the mood for it. Coming here from Texas it's not always easy to find good Mexican food but his place as well as Degollado Mexican Cafe/Grill on Newtown Rd. In Norfolk are the best from ocean view, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk & Portsmouth.

If I want GOOD Mexican food with great service, I would gladly go to either of these two places
& On Sundays at Degollado's kids eat for 2.99.

El Puente Mexican Grill was recommended to us by a co-worker. It has definitely been a great recommendation. Staff is great & the place is clean & very family friendly

I judge a lot of places by their queso too & this place ranks at the top. I would only recommend adding some pico to the cheese dips though but that's just me.
It's really great. I always order a side of pico to spoon into my queso for the chunks of onion & tomato in my dips

Aguachile verde? Fire. Shoutout to the Chef. First off, the aguachile was on another level— super fresh, spicy, and full of flavor that hits just right. But let’s talk about the real MVP: Kathy. She’s the kind of server that makes you feel like you’ve been friends for years. Super chill, super attentive, and just all-around awesome. Honestly, I’d come back just to have her as my server again. 10/10 experience .

Very pleased with our visit to El Puente Mexican Grill. I had the chicken fajitas and my husband enjoyed the Pollo Monterey. He raved that it was hands down the best Pollo Monterey he had ever had. Aside from the food being amazing, the service was incredible. Very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be visiting again!

This place is the best. The food tastes great, the staff is always very friendly and energetic and you can tell they want you to have a nice time. I like that they remember me. Very convenient, I'm impressed with how quick my takeout order is ready.

This is our 3rd time here, and every time has been excellent! We are always seated fast and receive our food fast... and this time was no different
This time, we ordered the El Loco Burrito and the Mushroom Quesadilla. For desert, we ordered the fried ice cream and it was amazing. Service is great, food is great, staff are professional and friendly. We will definitely be back! Thank you again!
