this is a gem of a place. the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the $20 to park. with That being said the place is very clean, staff was all very friendly. the food was excellent and the waitress (Payton) was very friendly and attentive.
They charge to park. They charge 10 cents more than the local full stop at pinners point. They charge 10% on a cash advance even if you put 250 gallons in the truck. It has cleaned up since last owners but at a premium cost for an average truck stop. Food is better than last owner but at the premium you pay not worth the stop in my opinion. So if you fill up get cash and take a shower, spend the night you going to drop an extra 80 bucks.
Very good place to eat and park
We stopped in and had the steak bites. Im surprised the food was so good. Home cooking... We'll be back!
My Steak and Shrimp were incredible! Very impressed. Clean bathrooms and the best Chocolate cake.
Another Truckstop taking advantage of American truck drivers charging $25 for a day to park knowing that there’s not one Truckstop within 60 miles of the area so they take advantage of people who worked 168 hours a week and away from their families and they’re hauling American freight to keep America alive and they’re charging us $25 to sleep and if you don’t pay the $25 a wake you up and ask you to move well guess what there’s nowhere else to park so where else are you supposed to park and go to sleep when you’re out of hours due to DOT law you’re not allowed to move after driving 11 hours so they’re forcing me to drive illegally away from their Truckstop because I can’t pay apart because I don’t make enough money in the trucking in the street to counteract the cost of parking that shouldn’t be paid because we all American freight I really wish all of our truck drivers should get together and boy caught America stop hauling freight for America and see how quick they change to give us parking so we can sleep at night. It is a sad thing that we can’t find a safe place to get 10 hours of sleep so we can get on the road and all American freight this needs to change.
This was the worst truck stop I’ve ever been to.
These people would non stop come up to the drivers and bother them shining flash light in their trucks. They were constantly seeking a problem with multiple drivers. Just the most unprofessional and stingy place I’ve ever seen. Truck drivers work so hard they are the backbone of this nation. Don’t go here!! Y’all deserve so much better…
This a great place to stop for a nice casual southern style meal. The menu is good I had the pork chops. Very friendly staff Crystal they ask how you are doing. Spencer is great. Everyone was. They offered to help me find things in their store. The bathrooms are clean. I had a pleasant afternoon.
I’m not usually a fan of the “mom-and-pop, old school” truck stop vibe — most of them feel like a museum exhibit for how not to run a business. But this place actually earns a solid 4. Yes, they charge for parking, but let’s be real: everyone does now. The showers? Not the Ritz, but at least you can tell they tried instead of just spraying some Febreze and calling it good. The food was surprisingly solid, which already puts it a step ahead of the roller dog lottery at most stops.
What really pushes it over the edge, though, is the customer service. Friendly, helpful, and they actually make you feel like more than just another DOT number rolling through. For me, that’s worth an extra star all day. If you’re passing through, it’s not paradise, but it sure isn’t punishment either.
Awesome staff and great food!!
