this is a gem of a place. the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the $20 to park. with That being said the place is very clean, staff was all very friendly. the food was excellent and the waitress (Payton) was very friendly and attentive.
This a great place to stop for a nice casual southern style meal. The menu is good I had the pork chops. Very friendly staff Crystal they ask how you are doing. Spencer is great. Everyone was. They offered to help me find things in their store. The bathrooms are clean. I had a pleasant afternoon.
I’m not usually a fan of the “mom-and-pop, old school” truck stop vibe — most of them feel like a museum exhibit for how not to run a business. But this place actually earns a solid 4. Yes, they charge for parking, but let’s be real: everyone does now. The showers? Not the Ritz, but at least you can tell they tried instead of just spraying some Febreze and calling it good.
