If I could leave zero stars I would. Do not and I cannot express this enough under any circumstances give this business your money. They should be shut down. We aren’t from area and I was just passing through looking for a fun place to take my kids to play for the evening. The only positive thing I can say is that the young girls working there are very friendly. Aside from that, this establishment is filthy. The floors are disgusting. They require socks at all times but it appears people are still walking in the area with shoes on the floor outside of the play area is so filthy that the dirt is being tracked in on the children’s grippy socks into the play area. There was trash and bandaids throughout the play area. All the ball pit balls are torn up and chewed on. There were exposed wires where young kids were playing, this is a safety hazard and extremely dangerous! It was so hot in there, no airflow whatsoever. Back behind the kitchen area behind the slides were a workers non slip shoes by where the food was being prepared. Food stuck to the play place area. Trash under all the netting and hanging in the ball pit net. A lot of the netting was broken but secured by sharp zip ties. All the equipment was dirt covered. It literally looks like the place hasn’t been cleaned at all or even at the very least wiped down in an extremely long time. The bathroom was a disaster, there was a bath mat around the toilet that was wet. No paper towels. There’s a rocking chair in the bathroom area for I assume breastfeeding moms but it was covered in stains and dirt. I can’t speak for the food or the game area but the play area alone was enough for me to see I wasted $34 dollars thinking my kids would get to play in a safe and clean environment. The health department absolutely needs to make a visit to this place. I would not waste my money taking your kids here. We did not stay long at all because the longer we stayed the more grossed out I was by the play area. It’s absolutely foul and it’s a shame people are spending their hard earned money there thinking there kids will get to play in a clean and safe environment. It’s also a shame that this establishment thinks the condition of the play area is acceptable for kids. Spend your money elsewhere.
Funville is the place to go if you have some work to do and need the kids to stay busy running!, jumping and sliding. A great cafe that's limited in food, but has great service and is Fun for young children. I bring my kids here a couple times a month. It's pricey, but you could stay here all day if you so chose to. I recommend this spot to any Parent with kids 8 and younger
Great for kids parties 🥳
If I could give negative stars I absolutely would. Absolutely FILTHY place, dirt and grime in every single crevasse, paint peeling on all walls and even the play equipment, the toddler area is absolutely HORRENDOUS. We went one day to check it out, and left 10 minutes after playing - both of my kids got sick two days later with horrible colds and double ear infections. I will NEVER return here, and if you value the health of your children you should never go. I have no idea how this place is even still open, it needs to be shut down immediately!
1st thing ill like to start off by saying this was my daughter 1st job she was excited to get hired and just experience working and being a lil more independent At first i was a lil nervous but i said she growing up it looks like a nice kid friendly environment so ill let her work there it wasn't long before i could see the change from happy to sad she would tell me everything that was going on with the manager name ( katrice) how she was treating her and just being disrespectful to my child then will take hours from the workers to give her daughter to have more hours then they supervisor (Quinshanna)has a group chat with the coworkers not knowing my daughter was in the chat to find out she fired her. Then going back and forth with the workers at 9pm last night thats so unprofessional with no explanation of why and then block her once she knew my daughter was in the chat. Horrible management I would love to talk to corporate some upper management to not only speak up for my 16 yr old but on the behalf of other people children thats working there or looking to work there. I have screenshot of the conversation so if yall could get intouch with me I greatly appreciate.
It's good for the kids. Costly.... price and food. Adults bring something to do besides your cell phone, like cards, unless you have games on your phone, and earplugs. Too many screaming kids. It's hard to keep track of the kids running all over the place, but please try. The bigger kids sometimes make it hard for the younger ones to enjoy the same play area. As I witnessed happening to my grandkids. Overall, it's a great place for kids to burn most of their energy out...😅
It is DIRTYYYYYYY. I took my daughter there to celebrate her birthday. Every single person in my group including myself and daughter got sick. The foam ball area had sock, dust, headbands and bows literally stuck to baskets that release the balls. We spent almost 2hrs there and not once did I see anyone clean. In the toddler area, the area is starting to brown due to the lack of cleaning. There was a thick layer of dust on the outside of the spiral yellow slide. Half of the arcade games had loose or broken card readers. I will NEVER take my daughter there again.
This place should be shut down. I recently visited Chesapeake square FunVille and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The pizza served was burnt.it was extremely hot , and I mean to the point we had to keep wiping sweat of our faces and shirt soaked and when I brought this to the staff's attention, they attributed it to the door being open as guests arrived. However, there weren't many people coming in at the time. Now looking at reviews from previous week it has been the same problem with no AC, so why are the employees lying about it being because of the doors being open that is no excuse.
The arcade was another letdown. After spending $100 on an arcade card, I found that most of the games were not operational. The few that did work had issues, such as not adding points due to IP address disconnections. So when my kids and I went to retrieve the prizes we found out from a $100 card we only had 173 points and most of the prizes are 74 points and up. So your telling me with a 200 credit because that $100 arcade card gives 100 credit+ a bonus 100 i can really only get 173 points, seriously. When I told the young lady that I spoke to the supervisor and that the machines are not working can she had 2 more point so that my daughter could get a little bracelet she said no. I told her this is unsat because your games were broken not adding points as needed and you can't add just 2 points. I've went to bowlero many times with my kids and purchased 100 arcade cards and have left with many prizes because all the points were added and provided more than 4,000 credits. Funville is way over priced for games that doesn't work
Again the facility was uncomfortably hot, and the only water provided ice kept melting quickly. There was a noticeable lack of supervision, with children climbing into the basketball arcade games, posing safety concerns. Additionally, the tables were not clean, machines were unsafe and you can see it tearing apart further detracting from the overall experience.
Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a recreational facility. I hope management takes these issues seriously and implements necessary improvements or just shut it down.
We've been visiting here for almost a year and it's improved so much in the last few months! The music is still too loud but the kids have a blast!
Front desk staff were amazing, welcoming, professional, and attentive; true assets to this facility definitely will be back

Despite the facility being warmer than I’d prefer, it is a nice place. However, our experience in Room 2 was very disappointing. The host with braids was inattentive and uninterested, leaving us to manage most of the event ourselves. For the price we paid, that’s unacceptable, and I hope management takes action to fix this issue.
The kitchen side service was outstanding the lady was by herself trying to make things ready. Overall almost everything was good. Except the Ice cream leady was looking so mad. And that's make me feel like she was forced to be standing there with no smile no helpfull no professionalism. She was buy it or live me a long type a deal person. And by the way the ice creams were expensive compared with better qualities. even less price outside at the corner.
I just spent $40 on 1 Cheese Pizza, french fries and fountain drinks. It was the worst pizza and the fries tasted like mashed potato french fries. Even the kids new it was poor quality. For as much money as they earn from high admissions, they should afford some quality in the refreshments. I am sad I chose us to eat here and disgusted by taste.
Usually this place is good to come and let the kids run around but this time, not so much. It’s summer. It’s hot. I looked at the thermostat and it is set at 80. I asked if the air was on and working. They said yes our air is on. I asked if there was any way to turn it down. They said unfortunately, no. My kids and others in here are drenched in sweat and some are not feeling well due to the heat. The only thing that I can say nice about this place is, the staff have been very friendly.
Great place for the kids to run and let some energy out. Needs to be cleaned up some but overall not bad. Bring lysol wipes and hand sanitizer and you'll be ok.
