Two things to know:
1. My husband travels for work and my daughter and i often travel with him. Our favorite thing to do is explore indoor playgrounds when in a new area. All this to say, I’ve been to A LOT of indoor playgrounds.
2. I only leave reviews publicly when a place is extraordinary or extraordinarily bad. I’m writing this one publicly in hopes of saving another family money and time.
Hands down, the worst indoor playground I’ve ever experienced.
Firstly, the front desk employee was sitting in a corner on her phone when we walked in. She looked up and saw us and carried on with what she was doing. After about two minutes of this she begrudgingly walked over and the greeting we were given was: “you do know we close at 8 right?” not even a hello. To which I replied, “yes.” It was 6pm so I understood the attempt to make sure I was informed, but that wasn’t the intent as she followed with: “we WILL close at 8pm, the lights will be cut off at 8:20 and you still have to pay full price.” Trying to stay positive I said “i understand, it’s no problem.” She made it very clear that she did not want to be there and that she did not want us there. I’ve never had a more miserable encounter. She talked so fast and low that I could barley understand anything she said and when I asked her to repeat, she made no adjustment, rather pointed to something that explained what she said or repeated it the same.
It cost just my daughter and I $40 to play. We’ve been to some incredibly nice indoor playgrounds, some in expensive locations, but this is the most I have ever paid, by far. My daughter is three and very chill, so she’s right on the cusp of wanting to be in the toddler area and wanting to explore the “big kid” area. So, you can pay $15 for your kid to play in the toddler zone, which is a tiny area more targeted for babies or $25 for everything. “Everything” being the toddler area and “big kid” play area; not the arcade, ropes course or the slides. Which the ropes course area and fun slides weren’t even opened. I know all of this because I asked and instead of talking me through it she pointed to a sign I could read. So it was $25 for my toddler, $2 for me to be with her and $10 for both of us a pair of socks. We brought our own grip socks, as we do this a lot, but it was “mandatory” that we each have $5 funville socks. I have NEVER been required to buy socks if I brought our own. After I paid this, I was reminded again of the closing time and sent on my way with no further instruction. I had to ask “is that everything” because she was so vague and unbothered.
I didn’t see anything being cleaned until 7pm, when they started closing. Yes, closing down so heavily that I had to find another employee (the only other employee I saw) to make sure they closed at 8pm (even though I had been told this several times.) There is ball section in the big kid area that allows kids to press buttons that cut on air and do fun things. It was very neat and my daughter LOVED this part, however only TWO out of the 8-10 machines they had actually worked. They also have air guns that you can shoot the balls out of, probably 15, none of them worked. At 7pm with NO warning, they shut all the air off. In the middle of my daughter and I playing the air suddenly cuts off and the employee that “greeted” us came in with a bag and started rounding them up. It took me a second to figure out what was going on it was so abrupt. They were pretty much pushing us out of the door at 7pm. We left at 7:38pm (not the last to leave, still several kids playing) and it felt like we were about to get the lights cut out on us. They actually made an announcement stating that lights cut off at 8:20.
All in all, it just felt like a huge scam. Half of the attractions were shut down, others closed an hour early, being required to wear funville socks, shutting down at 7, it was all too much. A few of those things I can handle, but all of that and for $40?! I would not r
Love this place
My family and I had a blast here!!! We love the Chesapeake location
I brought my family there for my grandbaby 3year old party for the first time on August 18 and my hold family got a virus even my grandbaby I'll never visit that place again
I took my grandbaby there on Sunday 8/18/24 for her bday the next morning we woke up sick ? we have diarrhea and throwing up that place need to be cleaned real good they need to close it for a day to sanitize their building too many kids in there they need to do better cleaning the place up she only 3
This place has a lot of potential due to the size and sections but it is very bad managed. We visited this place for 6+ times while paying around 100$ for 3 kids to play 1 to 2 hours. During our visits we thought that the rope coarse was broken or out of service because no one ever was using it. However we visited this week and my kids saw the place is open went on the line to only get denied access to it because the worker is not welling to do more than one round a day. The employee opens the coarse when she feels like it and does one round ( 5 kids only) per day. Even if everyone payed the same amount to enter and even if our admission ticket is including this section, we were denied to play just because the employee is not feeling like it. This is not fair for us ( parents that paid) for the kids (why the employee only allowed some), and for the employee that is not qualified to do the job. Very disappointed at this establishment and I won’t go back again.
This playground is huge. A lot of stuff to do for the kids. I thought there was a kart inside for mini racing but there was not any when we went.
Two things i did not like:
- the temperature. It was way too hot inside. Like i could not feel the AC circulating at all.
- the Arcade was wayyyyyy too expensive. My kids finished 200+80 bonus credits in less than 30 minutes. Thats $50 by the way.
An attractive place for children, but the price is high and the place is very neglected and dirty, I would not return.
This place is so fun! It is located by the old Chesapeake mall. There is a burger restaurant in the same parking lot. They do serve food though. I saw people eating pizza fries and soda. There is a QR code on each table you can order from. This is a great indoor play area. Many levels of fun for kids of all ages. The colors were bright and vibrant and fun at the same time. The play area for toddlers was large and well thought out with many safe things to keep kids busy. It was for kids under 3 foot tall. My son loved it. A multi level play area for kids older than toddlers maybe up to pre teens. More than enough physical activities to keep your kids busy for a few hours. You need a power card type thing to play at the arcade though but modern and fun. Staff was polite from the time we entered until we left. The front desk clerk was understanding of my son’s disability and allowed me to wear an entrance band on my wrist instead of him. The lady that was in the play area with the kids was very attentive to the entire play area. There was also a lady in charge of the large slides and she was kind to my son who ran over several times but was then scared to do the slide. We drove 50 minutes to check it out and were glad we did. My son loves it here. I’m sure we’ll be back soon. This is a good place for a rainy day afternoon. The only thing I didn’t like was the price. We paid $40 for my son and husband to each get a pair of socks and to have free play for 2 hours.
Overall, this place is poorly managed and short staffed. Kudos to the workers for doing their best with what they had (all were kind). As others have stated, the place needs to be thoroughly cleaned, as well as maintained. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning due the issues stated above. This business has great potential if it were managed properly.

Nice indoor play space for kids of all ages+
The kids love it here, and $12.00 Tuesday was much more reasobable. You cannot use household socks. You are required to buy funville approved socks. Typically $32.00 each child plus socks adds up! Tuesday is $12.00 + socks
You also have the option of a membership and you can load money on their card for the arcade area. The bumper cars have been removed and are no longer offered.
There is a decent menu with plenty fried foods, you can scan a QR that has your table number already this makes ordering really fast. We went with the loaded fries, they came out piping hot. They were actually Pretty good.
Your toddler will be kicked out of the toddler section and forced to play in the section for older kids if they're slightly taller than other toddlers. The workers here don't care if your toddler is the right age to play in the toddler section. They would rather your child get trampled by older children. We got a refund and left. We've never been back to this location ever since. That was our first and last time there. Horrible birthday experience for my little one.
Fun places for the kids, plenty of space to sit The kids have a wealth of things to do. We spent 3 hours and the kids had fun and were tired afterward. One day pass was inexpensive, if I was closer I’d get a membership. If possible complete the permission/ liability form online prior to going. It saves much time.
I wish I can give a zero star , this place used to be run by the best and it was always nice and clean ! We haven’t been here for a long time and I was surprised with how expensive it is for a day entry and how disgusting the place looked and smelled ! I mean for the amount you are charging I’m expecting continuous cleaning and keeping up with this place .there was fake nails on the floor ! The mats are black and the dust is everywhere ! Cleaning the tables doesn’t mean u cleaned the place ! I’m so sad to see this place go for one the best spots to one of the worst n couldn’t wait until we left .
