I love this place and I'm a regular customer. It's the best sushi in Chesapeake. My only suggestion for improvement is that they don't give enough soy sauce and sometimes they only give one piece of tuna in the sushi lunch.
But the quality of the sushi is excellent. I love sushi and won't eat it unless it's good quality. This place is good. I love it.

When I saw a young woman’s hair brush against the beautifully plated food that was about to be served, I knew I would never come back . It was absolutely revolting — enough to ruin anyone’s appetite. She never bothers to tie up her long hair, which, quite frankly, seems to violate basic health regulations in this state. Her manner was rude as well; anyone who comes here regularly would know exactly whom I’m referring to. It’s quite apparent she spends more time leaning over her phone than attending to her work. Their service is nothing like what it was ten years ago.
***THE BEST sushi/sashimi in the USA!!!*** Truly an authentic sushi vibe. Brings me back to my time in Japan and is just as good as it is overseas. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you will not be disappointed.

Today was my second time dining in at this restaurant during lunch. Both times, I was served by the same young woman, and each time she gave off very negative energy. Anyone who has experienced it probably knows exactly who I’m talking about.
There’s a difference between being laid-back and being flat-out dismissive. Her facial expressions, tone, and overall demeanor made it clear she wasn’t concerned about my experience—nor anyone else’s, for that matter.
Not to mention, there was another customer dining in who ended up walking out saying, “That’ll be the last time,” after waiting patiently for someone to bring him his check. He eventually looked back to see every front-line worker texting, so he got up and walked over to pay instead.
To make matters worse, I ordered the same meal both days but was charged $3 more today—with no reasonable explanation.
So, I won’t be dining in again. From now on, it’s carry-out only for me, where I can confirm my total upfront and avoid the unnecessary attitudes.
