I love that my fruit was cut up in tiny bites! It made it easier to eat after having my wisdom teeth pulled earlier this week ! Those small attention to details make this place stand out! Also enjoy the local arts and crafts for sale.

Lovely little spot if you ever wanting a coffee shop where you can sit down and read. Had a great chat with some of the staff and can't go wrong with their apple crepe.

Been here twice in the last month at 0800, looking for coffee and breakfast. Hours and door sign says it opens at 8am. Sat in the parking lot both times for 10+ minutes and finally gave up. Mostly posting this so the owner knows it’s not actually being opened for service at 8am.

I ordered an omelet at 10 am and never received it. I was there with my bookclub. When j went up to ask for a refund the girl at the register acted like I was lying. And when I said it was terrible customer service she got a real attitude.

Very pleasant experience here! Absolutely love the decorations and the items for sale. They have a sorry game you can play on a table top! I tried the Americana, very good coffee. My friend had a peppermint mocha and enjoyed that. (Only thing I suggest, is if you are dining in, remember it is served in a coffee mug, so a large is better purchased as a to-go option.)Definitely plan on visiting again and trying their breakfast croissant!Parking: 10+ spots available

We visited here for the first time last week. When we walked in we were so excited because of how cute the vibe was, and the food sounded delicious. We ordered a latte, an omelette, side salad, and a panini at 3:10. We got our latte quickly but waited for the food for 50 minutes, then were told we needed to leave because it was closing time. Obviously, all of that would have been fine but none of it was communicated. When we got our food, I told the woman at the counter that she should tell people if there’s a wait because we could have ordered something smaller that wouldn’t have been as much work for her and she sighed at me, rolled her eyes, and offered no apology. A simple “I’m so sorry it’s taking so long” or any communication during the 50 minutes we waited would have made all the difference. I was very disappointed with the service and the wait/cost of the food.

I love this place, It's a small country store with a couple of shops upstairs. Love the coffee.
This place has a "roll for flavor" option for your coffee which is so nerdy and cool. The people are always awesome and the food is bomb. Really cool place.

I've heard a great things about Hickory Trading so my husband & I thought we would try it. It is a cute spot with a lot of items for sale. We ordered 2 omelets, one with ham & mushrooms and the second onion & mushrooms. I really wanted a croissant but they were out (at 9:00 in the morning) so I ordered fruit. We were then told they were out of mushrooms, and could pick something else for our omelettes. We didn't order coffee, just 2 waters. 45 minutes later our food was brought out, no water, we had to ask again for it. The omelettes were okay, but not 26.00 worth good. The part that made us decide not to return was, when we were leaving my husband went back to the register and asked where to leave the tip, he was told in the bucket. Although the server saw him put a nice tip in the bucket, there was no acknowledgment. No thank you, no come again, no kiss my foot, no nothing. With the addition of at least 5 other coffee shops within a 1 mile radius, you would think they would be appreciative of the business, I guess not.
