Waitress was very sweet but the food was horrible and I travel all over the country and all I do is eat at IHOP. I guess you can say I'm a IHOP guru and been to alpt of IHOP just ask anyone that knows me.... But this place take the cake. It smelled horrible inside the restaurant like paint or something and the food was just awful. I usually don't write big reviews. But this place I had to.

IHOP isn’t as bad as some say it is, but some locations does have it flaws though. This location is not a good location, but a decent one, that is. What doesn’t make it a good location is how long it takes your food to arrive, how long it takes for a waiter to get your orders, how unstable the restaurant is, and why isn’t it cleaner. Some good things about this location is that the staff is friendly expect for the part when it takes forever for someone to take your order, and if they got your order wrong which does happen, then they’ll happily fix your order without giving off a bad gesture. There isn’t anything outstanding about this location since this location is decent, so I don’t have much more to say. I would recommend the Salisbury Steak for any meat lovers though.

What a disappointment, arrived for a early lunch..waited over 15 minutes to just be seated ( there was only 1 older lady waiting to get sat) so the wait was ridiculous.. the table was filthy and the floor looked like it was dirtier than a plate with so much grime and food, crumb's ect..if my grandchildren hadn't been so hungry I would had turned around and walked out.. the only reprieve was our waitress she appeared to be 1 of 2 server's.. how crazy is that? The kids food was chicken tenders & fries I tasted and they were good.. my bacon omelette was not much to be desired, tasteless and the cheese was gritty tasting..nasty and I could not eat it. The home-fries were the best & only edible thing on my plate..the cheese-steak was ok..but fries cold ..but the most disgusting thing that happened was the unsanitary drinks, I had sweet tea, and my grandkids had the blue berry lemonade,and strawberry lemonade..I kept seeing what I thought was gnats in all 3 drinks but was actually black moldy specks in all our ice..I inspected the ice and told the kids to not drink anymore.. at that point I just wanted to leave and prayed we wouldn't get sick from the black moldy ice.. I am definitely reporting this IHOP to the better business bureau.. and VA health inspector's..if they want to jeopardize my and my son & grandchildren's health there in for a rude awakening.. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy..the only bright spot was the server who spoke kindly and seemed frazzled which obviously she cannot control the cooks nor the unsanitary place when she is serving at least 8 other tables practically alone..I want to think that if she knew about the ice she wouldn't had served it..for she spoke so friendly that I'm sure she didn't know..all the same avoid this horrible excuse of an IHOP save your money also for I spent an arm an leg for 2 children's meals,a breakfast meal with a sandwich cost before tip almost 75 bucks that's robbery they should had been paying me for the cruddy experience,gross food and sickening drinks..I'll never return and recommend if you don't want to experience the same you also not come here..( BTW the bathroom is so gross I literally walked out without using it, it looked like feces was spread on the stall wall side's, the entire floor sticky there was garbage all over the bathroom and it smelled uncalled for disgusting)

Breakfast….order was incomplete …requested hash browns did not get until later while eating Was smoking hot as if from micro wave not tasty at all…..request no charge because of service and taste, however was told would not remove charge Very disappointed with breakfast at ihop this morning don’t think will return…as if they.care!!!

There was one guy there who was the server the host and the cook. He did an excellent job and I gave him a nice tip because of his hard work forme and my family. He deserves a raise.

Steak and eggs. Absolutely horrible. NOT the steak you think about when you say the word "steak". Bite size pieces of cow meat of unknown origin marinated with a corn syrup-sweet flavor and boiled. Not grilled. The server was great about it, brought me something different. Ended up eating the eggs and pancakes, but still got charged for the garbage I couldn't eat. Never again.
I received great customer service at this location and my food order was delicious.

This place has basically only old people working inside that all look miserable & they have attitudes. I came in for a DoorDash and saw people getting sat way after I was here & finish their food & leave before I got mine & was still sitting here. Terrible customer service. Terrible employees. Not good. Hate this location.
