The food was really good and I had the hibachi steak and veggies and fried rice. The decor is old so don’t go if you’re trying to have a fancy date. They had amazing service and the chef did an awesome job! The downside is they don’t have noodles. At least that’s what the lady told me who took the order, that since they bought it a year ago they don’t have noodles, so that was disappointing bc noodles are my favorite part of the dish and their menus say they have noodles. They also dont have clear soup, just the miso and their vegetables are lame. Just cabbage and a few slices of carrots and that’s it. No zucchini no squash no mushrooms, they actually don’t have mushrooms there he said so I’m not sure but what food we did get was pretty good. I’d go back if someone asked me to go there but I wouldn’t go there on my own accord, but again just bc some of my favorite stuff they don’t seem to serve. We did go on a Wednesday morning when they first opened up for the day.

It didn't seem inviting at all. They didn't have noodles, they said it's been a year,but noodles were on the menu. The food itself was pretty good but lacked flavor/sauce. They didn't have clear soup, the meal came with miso soup. One of the people in our group had a hair in the last piece of sushi they ate. Service was good, especially the chef. Gratuity is already added!

I had the Sushi Deluxe and I had the best sushi I’ve ever had. They make food in front of you and do cool tricks while you wait. The sushi doesn’t include that tho. But the staff was amazing and super kind. So I fully recommend this place without hesitation

Best filet mignon in the Hampton roads area, won't go anywhere else for hibachi
I stopped by this location because I was looking for sushi in the area and I wanted some to go. I walked in and the gentleman asked me how could how many people in which I let him know I would like to place a Togo order. He said no no no I have a big party coming I cannot do to go order and I wanted to make sure I heard him so I repeated what he said. He didn’t asked what I wanted to order or anything and how does having a big party stop you from serving one person.

Food is delicious without a doubt, the only thing that caught my husband and I off guard was the automatic 18% gratuity. I understand for parties of 6 or more but for two people is outrageous! The chef we had was amazing and I wish we had tipped him cash before knowing about the gratuity. Our mistake for not catching it, of course, so putting this here to alert other potential customers in case they miss it on the menu too.
