The food is great. Cooked on location in outside smokers. It's a small family operation. Nothing fancy. Just good food and good people.

We had your ribs at the RibFest in Elkhorn Wisconsin. We waited in line for about 45 minutes, which we didn't mind doing expecting excellent ribs. We were very disappointed. the ribs were tough and chewy, and rare at the bone. We couldn't eat them because we didn't feel that eating raw pork was safe. I thought about going back up to the booth to complain, but you were really busy, and your staff was super friendly, so we just considered it a waste of $32. My friend took the ribs home, cooked them low and slow for 5 hours, and then they were delicious. I know running a food booth for something that takes so long to cook is a challenge, but serving raw pork keeps us from purchasing from you next year. I would not have written the negative comments for mediocre ribs, but it felt necessary for raw ribs

Caught up with them at the Elkhorn Ribfest, absolutely incredible sauce ribs were fall of the bone smack ya with flavor, there was a gentleman greeting everyone through out the lines he is top notch in customer service such a fun personality definitely will be checking them out again next year as we now have a new favorite. Did I mention the Mac and cheese? Oh myyyy possibly the best I’ve ever had. A must stop.

Wish we would have come here sooner. Been missing good bbq since moving here. Keep in mind its cash only, but we fed 3 people full meal with drinks for less than $60. Well worth the price!

First time eating here today and I’m already planning to come back. I asked the friendly guy at the counter what he recommended, and he suggested a lunch special BBQ sandwich, one side, and a drink for $12. Great deal! The service was quick, and everyone was super nice. The food smelled so good I couldn’t even wait until I got home, I ate most of the sandwich in the car. It was delicious!

If you’re thinking about trying this place, do it! Just a heads up, they don’t take card payments, so bring cash. Not a big deal, but good to know.

Tried yall today at the Monroeville Convention Center... Hands down the best Ribs there!! Great collard greens as well. Service was fast and everyone was super friendly. Thank you for the amazing experience!!

Had Johnson’s at Rib Fest in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is THE BEST bbq. The collard greens are unmatched and we wait to get them every year at Rib Fest PGH. Love yall!!!!

Not welcoming at all, I went inside said hello to the staff and they just looked at me (I should have just left right then). The baked beans are straight from the can... no onions, or peppers.. just bland. I asked if they served pulled chicken bbq sandwiches.. the cashier said yes.. that is not what i received. I got a little bit of smoked chicken chopped up on a bun flooded with bbq sauce and a one spoon of cole slaw. I will never go again. Even my children said they felt very awkward and unwelcome.
