First time going. Bought a ten-piece takeout (with garlic butter/pepper) and fries, and I didn't even have to wait long for them. The wings are, like, actually criminally good. The fried shrimp and plain chicken are really good, too.

I'll absolutely be going again.

Ate here yesterday. The food was amazing. Group of three and we all had the fish and shrimp special. Between the three of us we had sides of mac and cheese, yams, and cabbage. All the food was hot, well seasoned, cooked like you made it at home. Portions were very generous. We met the owner and she was very friendly. Please go visit and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely eat there again!

I have been several times and everything is good! I've had fried shrimp, Salisbury steak, salmon cakes and most of the sides. This is my new spot!!! It is seasoned just right and the customer service is perfection.

Did a carry out food was awesome. Ate off it for 3 days.Had turkey wings with collards and yams. Also another family member has catfish,mac and cheese and dirty rice AWESOME

I hate to tell yall about this spot. That's how good it is... However, I would do them an injustice by not promoting their business. Listen, I'm not sure what they have in the batter, but when I tell you that I WANT and NEED the recipe. That is not an understatement. My mom brought home one of their dinners after church, and I couldn't stop raving about the whiting. I finally made it over there yesterday, and they did not disappoint. They were professional, pleasant customer service, and the food was savory.

Found this restaurant with a quick search for good Southern food near me! My kids and I had a WONDERFUL time and the food was AMAZING! We started with chicken wings... Chefs kiss! I had the fried salmon bites and fried shrimp with collards and green beans...perfectly seasoned and fried, and BABY, the sweet potato bread pudding and sweet potato pound cake are worth you driving from anywhere in Hampton Roads! The service was great too.

Absolutely a must if you’re living in Hampton roads! You could tell the food was homemade and so so good! I had salmon cakes and my daughter had bourbon chicken and we both cleaned our plates! Delicious 🤤
