The last time I went to this store, the csr person in the self checkout had a VERY nasty attitude. I wish that I had gotten her name so that I could've reported her to corporate. It's been 4 months since I've been there, or any Kroger, due to that incident. Kroger was the place where I would shop, not anymore because of that woman. SHE was the worst. She was even nasty with the 'lost prevention' guy when he pointed out how someone came through the line and did something suspicious. If I ever go back, and she is still working there, I will get her name because I kept the receipt with the date and time. DO BETTER with customer service skills.

We were at Krogers yesterday and one of the clerks attending the self checkout area on the end by the flower dept. was very rude. She told my boyfriend that has COPD stage 4, he couldn't sit on the area where the bags were because it would mess up the register. I understand that. Its the way she said it! But, she kept shaking her head in disgust like we were supposed to know it. Well, I did something wrong on the register and I also had my purse sitting on the side of the register. She said "See! I told you! It happen again bcus of your purse", and shaking her head at us like we were stupid! Then, after I finished, I was waiting for my boyfriend to then ring his things up and she watched every move he made. He needed her assistance again, and with a disgusted moan and underbreath words, she helped him and of course, shaking her head! I asked another clerk for a supervisor and when she came, I explained how rude the clerk was so rude to us, and it's the 2nd time she was actually rude to me. Mary came over, raising her voice to me and the manager, and the manager told Mary to walk away and would talk to her in a moment. I'll never go to Mary's line to spend my good, hard-working money again!!

CHECK YOUR RECIEPTS!
I went in on 1/4/25 and purchased $16 worth of product. That was the price at self check out. With such a small order I didn't think anything of it and tossed the reciept when I got home. When I checked my bank account Kroger had taken $35 out of my account. It's not even worth the head ache to try and get a refund from calling an 800 number. So since Kroger #1 can't get thier tag prices correct because 2 of my items rung up as more than tag price. #2 Kroger wants to withdraw double my reciept price from my bank account.... I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR WITH THIS COMPANY. instead I'll spend my money with your competitors. Oh by the way your customer service sucks. Maybe pay your employees a decent wage.

Put in the following review 8 months ago: Wife is handicapped. There were at least 6 scooters at the store entrance, but every one of them was broken. Also, there were vehicles in the handicapped parking spots that had neither a handicapped license plate or a hang tag. Also have noted that some people even leave non-handicapped vehicles running in handicapped parking spot with someone just sitting in vehicle...It is easy for me to surmise that this Kroger location does not care about their handicapped customers.
I did a survey to feedback on these specific issues and just received a canned response telling me to feel free to talk to any of the available Kroger associates. Guess we will see if they do anything about this.
None of the scooters shown in the attached photo actually worked.
Update: to Date, I have seen no improvement in the Handicapped scooter situation at this Kroger store

New review: Wife and I went into this Kroger on November 25, 2024 and decided to use self-checkout since the other lanes were pretty backed up with long lines. I used the station on the front, left side next to the store employee...then the nightmare started...we got several errors while scanning out groceries and each one required this employee to come over, "swipe in", and review the video to see what we were doing wrong. At one point, I swapped places with my wife to see if I would have better luck. Unfortunately, the issues continued, and he came up with excuses like "I've had other people use this station, with no problem...He even watched us to see what we were doing wrong... Then he says "Oh, I think I know what happened..."That station was turned off when I first arrived at self checkout, so I turned it on because there were so many people waiting..." Then he apologized profusely...Would have taken less time to go through the regular checkout line...You would think they would open another register or two, seeing as it is Thanksgiving week!
So, does this store just deal with broken equipment? Is this a store management problem. Who knows?

Mary, at the customer service counter, Store 1653, doesn't welcome customers. She forgot to smile. I was the one who greeted her. She's rude, condescending. I think she has to be reassigned in the stock room where she doesn't have to interact with customers.
She doesn't even know the return policy of kroger. She said 15 days but can't prove it. So she paged the manager.

I know your return policy, but she doesn't. It is within 30 days except for the baby formula.
She could've looked it up at the website instead of paging the manager while other customers are in line waiting.

I talked to other krogers employees, and they told me they can't stand her either. I planned to shop, but ended up leaving the store empty-handed & unhappy. I went to another store to do business with them

My Kroger pick up order today. Why? Just why?

My wife showed up at 6:07 pm. They took forever to come out. They brought out the wrong order. Fast forward to 7:10pm, she was still waiting. No one gave her any answers. People showed up after and received their orders with my wife just sitting there waiting. I called and spoke to a manager and he did not seem to care. I canceled my order and will go elsewhere tomorrow. DO NOT GO HERE. Thanks for nothing.

I really like shopping at this particular Kroger, except last night (9-21-24) between 9 and 10:00 PM, my shopping experience was made a lot less enjoyable by the store employees pulling pallets into the aisles and blocking customers, like myself from getting through. (See photos) It seemed like just about every single time I started to head down an aisle, there were pallets of products and/or pallet jacks in the way. I do understand that your staff have to stock the shelves in a timely manner, but keeping the customers from getting through the aisles and placing items in front of the existing stock is not the way to encourage customers to shop there. Having to figure out a way to maneuver around boxes, large pallets, and forklifts are not my idea of a pleasant shopping experience. I have shopped here at this time of day in the not so distant past, and didn’t have to deal with this. I find this very frustrating and inconsiderate to your customers. Did you ever stop to think that this might make customers want to shop somewhere else? Not only that, but what about the seniors who come in there that have to find a way to maneuver around this chaos? And the employees act like they could care less and we’re in their way. I actually witnessed a male employee hurl a box several feet in the air, like one would toss a football, down an aisle while laughing and bragging to his coworker about how it landed in the exact spot where it should go. Really?! What if he had hit someone, not to mention his disregard of how to handle items that might be damaged now? Do you not teach your employees about safety? This guy was a grown man. I would have thought he would have known better. In addition to this, I actually had to move an electric pallet jack out of my way just to get cat food for my cat. This is crazy. Get it together Kroger and just remember that it’s your customers who keep you in business.

Clean, good selection, kids carts and give away stickers, Alex at self checkout out was super friendly and helpful. Some good sales, though the app is riddled with fine print

I came here because the website said it had what I needed on stock. I called the meat department when I got here and watched every one in the store ignore my “There’s a call waiting” announcement OVER THE INTERCOM. Do better . I can literally hear myself being ignored lol

Can’t give them more than 2 stars due to their produce section. 90% of the time, the fruit and vegetables I buy are rotten inside. The money I spent on apples only to cut them open and they are brown. Same for their fresh leaf lettuce. Looks good until you tear it open and the center is black. In addition, 50% of the time, the produce I am looking for is an empty shelf.
