Several times during peak hours they only have the one lane open. Multiple times the people working the windows are high with bloodshot eyes. Orders keep getting messed up. Used to like this McDonald’s

After ordering my food in the drive through. I had to park and wait for it. After the gentleman gave me my bag. I noticed I was given the wrong bag. They apologized and gave me my correct order with no hesitation. Good customer service.

Despite showing my full order confirmation email and app confirmation, that I was charged and the order placed at this location, 400 battlefield S, was told they would not fulfill my order. I was treated extremely rudely by the staff. I had thought this McDonald’s set a high standard then the others around Chesapeake.

This McDonald's is literally one of the worst ones I've been in. From the employees cussing and running around the store, to 10 employees working the drive-thru, to nobody helping anybody up front. We were told that the location no longer takes cash. Then, after we were told they refused to even take a credit card, they said it was posted on the door. When I went back out the door, there was no note on the door. #McDonalds

I rarely write reviews, but my repeated experiences with this McDonald’s location have been so consistently disappointing that I feel compelled to speak up. This establishment has proven itself incapable of handling even the most basic aspects of service. Let me elaborate:
1. Straws: How hard is it to include a straw with a drink? It’s not a special request—it’s basic, standard practice. Yet, time and time again, I open the bag to find myself struggling to drink my beverage without one. This level of negligence is absurd.
2. Sauces: This is where the frustration skyrockets. I’ve paid extra for sauces on numerous occasions, yet they are almost always missing. I shouldn’t have to double-check my bag every single time to ensure I get what I’ve paid for. It feels like this location simply doesn’t care about delivering what their customers are entitled to.
3. Repeated Failures: Mistakes happen, sure. But when the same issues occur repeatedly, it stops being a mistake and starts looking like incompetence or indifference. This isn’t just a one-off bad experience; it’s a consistent pattern of poor service.

Overall, this location has demonstrated a complete disregard for the quality of its service. If you can’t handle the basics, how can customers trust you to get anything right? Unless you enjoy chasing down missing items or being perpetually disappointed, I strongly recommend finding another McDonald’s to visit.

This performance is unacceptable, and it reflects poorly on the brand as a whole. Do better.

Ordered at the kiosk to eat in and had a number for the employees to bring me my food, but they called out my number for me to pick up, and it was in a bag. I can take a hint that they do not want customers there. Service has gone downhill at this restaurant. In addition, after ordering at the kiosk, I paid at the counter but took the employees a long time to come to the register to take my money. A couple of employees just looked at me and ignored me.

I placed a curbside pickup order via the McDonald's app at this location and waited over 30 minutes with no communication or updates from the facility. Despite checking in, no staff attended to me, and calls went unanswered. At the drive-thru, I encountered harsh, unhelpful staff who stated, "there's no one available to come out," without apologizing. This isn't my first negative experience at this location; I've previously received missing or incorrect items. These recurring issues significantly detract from the customer experience. I’m very disappointed with the staff & service at this location.

a one star . listen to this ppl its 845 pm on saturday night and dont forget there hours are until 1am . so i asked why the lights are off and the guy goes we want as little as ppl coming in tonight as possible so we can get out on time . you have 5 hours until you closed .. also he said his manager told them to do it . wow mcdonalds you should look into another manager !!!! wish i could post a picture . all lights off .. had to edit post i get home fries are cold . nothign that i ordered

Went through drive thru and waited in the outside lane for 15 minutes while the inside lane was getting served one after another. The person on the headset kept telling me to hold on. I finally left and just changed my order to be brought out to me. This has been my worst McDonald’s experience. I use to be an hourly manager so I know how it feels to be on both sides of the counter. Took 25 minutes to get my food and didn’t give me all of my food.
