This place can be really busy for Lunch hours and a bit noisy at times. However staff is nice and efficient and food was served hot and quickly. Prices are reasonable

I've eaten here several times. The last 3 times the food has been so bland and tasteless. Today did it for me. The steak and scrambled egg bowl with the sauce was bland, no seasoning at all. The steak was between rubber, over cooked peaces or raw, the eggs and has brown were ok, the pancakes were soft cardboard, didn't even eat them and they didn't even take it off the check after I kindly stated to the waitress that the pancakes were not appetizing. I still left her a 25% tip. It's not her fault, but at least offer to take the giant cardboard pancakes off the bill, especially when they were not eaten. Now if you chicken and waffles. Those are good. Won't be going there again after this.

I had their biscuits and gravy this morning along with two eggs and some hash-browns and within a couple matter I fell violently ill. It ended up being food poisoning and we called to let them know and they basically blew us off.

We ordered through door dash, and 2 out of 4 items were incorrect. Both waffles were missing powdered sugar. The strawberry shortcake waffle was missing everything, with the exception of a few chopped strawberries. 🍞🍓🍰 The chicken needed the same seasoning that the tenders have included. 🍗🧂

I didn't actually order anything but I am going back very soon to see why it was packed and people were steady coming.
This was my second time eating here. First time was outstanding—-5 stars all around.
This time I can’t say the same. We watched our food sit in the window for approximately 10 minutes while the waitress moved about the restaurant helping others. So we asked another waitress to please bring our food because it was ready in the window. She told us that it wasn’t our food and walked away. With in literally 10 seconds our waitress grabbed those same plates and brought them to us. Wife’s eggs were cold. Besides that our food was good.
The same lying waitress stood there in front of me by the to go area whispering and talking to her co- worker about my wife and I.
Displeased customer and still left a nice tip in spite of…….Thanks Cheyenne!!!

Cheyenne was attentive, accurate and friendly. The food was a little lackluster. This is the second time I had to return an item. She took excellent care of me though. Kudos to her but the kitchen has lost it consistency. I've eaten here often but something has changed. Think I will give it a break for now.

We had heard many good things about Metro diner and the reviews all seem to be five star. Unfortunately, the day we went in we were never able to try the food. Even though there were six employees standing around the hostess station chatting, we sat at our table for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged by a single staff member. We left without so much as a nod in our direction. With many good restaurants in the area, and many with excellent service, we will be choosing one of those next time we go out to eat.

Metro is my go-to breakfast diner. The meat lover's omlette is great and Tiffany always provides great service with a smile!
Ms. Tiffany, our waitress, suggested the Iron City Meatloaf and it was the best choice. I can’t thank her more for suggesting it
