First time trying MOD. Pleasantly surprised. So many toppings and cheeses to choose from. Will definitely be back.

This review is only for a specific location that we went to - Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA. There's 3 of them working but the 1st employee who took our order, he has attitude like we did something wrong by ordering pizza! We're giving you business!

Speed and efficiency are not a priority here. If you are going to do an order do it online you will take priority over standing in line. The business model is not designed to take care of customers who walk in the door, waited in line for 25+ minutes with three couples in front of us.

This was the first time I have ever been to a Mai pizza. I went to the one on battlefield in Chesapeake, and they were very knowledgeable. They kicked told me to create your own pizza and I could have as many toppings as I wanted. We also got salads. We got their little whoopi cake right? And drinks, and they were very helpful telling us about the. Rewards thing so we ended up Eating everything everything was excellent, fresh. Everyone was very friendly.I really enjoyed it

I arrived w/a group of 6. We were all able to sit comfortably in their booth. The staff was so pleasant. I love the spicy pizza sauce & LACTOSE FREE CHEESE 🧀 YAY‼️I asked what was the thickest crust they had, the staff told me the one he chose is the thickest. However, the crust was still thin as a cracker. I love thick crust, so maybe I’ll ask the staff to put two crusts on top of each other instead of one. Overrall, I enjoyed the “Subway” effect. They make your pizza 🍕 custom made & you can see the toppings that are available & tell them how much you want. I’ll be back!

Regular for years. When it's good, it's great. But honestly, sometimes the wait in line is 20 minutes on a Friday evening. Oh, and only one employee is servicing the line, one is pressing dough, one is servicing on line ordeds and two are on the oven (and somehow manage to burn a pizza. Thankfully, the dough presser remakes that pizza and goes back to pressing dough). Meanwhile, the line is wrapped around the door and the one guy making those pizzas can't keep up (he's a super nice guy). What I don't understand is why the dough guy or one of the oven attendants don't come over, get the line down? Needless to say, after standing in line so long, I decided I am done giving this location any more money and went over to Mission BBQ and talked about our Pizza alternatives in the area. If you find yourself in this situation, there are plenty nearby including Little Caesars, Chanellos and Wasserhund.

So these were our cheese sticks and they literally didnt have even half enough cheese for it to actually be decent. It was just bread. The build your own pizza is great but beware of certain items

My friend and I go there often. Great pizza. We like the crispy crust (but not too crispy). Lots of topping options. Comfortable atmosphere but pretty busy. The wait isn't too long, tho. Duck Donuts is next door. Often pop over there and either ruin our appetites but usually get them to go. Near Sam's Club.
