neat bird chicken & whiskey

Went with my other half for lunch. Food was very good. Our server was excellent. She was courteous. I drank an Old Fashion. The server (I don't remember her name, sorry) told us how to recreate the drink at home. She even wrote down what brand of bitters I should use. I had a salad, which was fairly good and my wife had a hot honey chicken sandwich (if I'm not mistaken). Would definitely visit again to try more food.

-Most of the seating requires you to sit next to another party.
-Service is very slow.
-Very expensive (it's just chicken), sides don't come with a meal and if you want a side it cost as much as a meal.
-No cell service in the building (they have wifi but you should never trust public wifi especially when this place seems to have multiple networks which is likely fake networks).
-There's an old guy walking around in booty shorts with his but hanging out filling up people's drinks.
-LGBT staff/atmosphere (this is subjective, you might enjoy this, might not), i do appreciate that it was not advertised, you just get to experience it for what it is.

An amazing happy hour old fashioned for $6?? Can't be. Yes. Yes it can! Awesome drinks! AMAZING chicken! And the pork belly burnt ends?! 100% worth the trip. Again and again!

It is sad how they managed to totally kill the thigh strips. The most succulent piece of chicken should never resemble jerky.
Service was less than engaged.
Every thing was much better the first time we came, sorry we recommended it to first time visitors today.
Outside seating kept it from being a total waste, since the weather is gorgeous.

Food is good, I can’t believe that I will be enjoying devil eggs. And carrots!!!

Do not eat here unless you like waiting long waits. They were only at maybe 15% capacity and they couldn't keep up. I would hate to see the wait time at full capacity.

The food was subpar overall. Deviled eggs, espresso martini, and cheese curds were good. Had a plain chicken sandwich and was concerned about how pale it looked, but tasted it anyways, there was no flavor and the chicken looked borderline pink inside. Mac and cheese was decent. The waitress was nice, but the atmosphere was nothing special.

I had high hopes for this spot, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the expectation. The deviled eggs were… an acquired taste, to put it kindly, and the wings lacked the flavor and care I was hoping for. Service was surprisingly cold—there’s a way to be efficient without being dismissive, and that balance just wasn’t there. As for the sides, they felt like an afterthought. I truly wanted to enjoy myself, but it’s safe to say this won’t be a place I revisit.

Stopped by for a drink and placed an order to go. Drinks were great. Ended up getting 2 sand sharks and the whole fried chicken meal with kale and Mac & cheese. Everything was delicious. They have a dope little lounge area of to the side if you don't wanna sit at the bar which was perfect. The female bartender with the cool chest tat was very welcoming and made great drinks

The food was delicious, I was surprised by the place when I walked in. Wasn’t expecting it to look anything like it did. Very nice.

Had the old school chicken sandwich. Not good.Tasted like frozen patty from grocery store.
Chik fila is better and cheaper. Really thought I would be getting a fresh chicken breast. Very disappointing.

Top marks all around. We go almost every week to chill and enjoy their incredible food. Chicken is always so juicy and full of flavor (nugs for the win!). All their apps, sides, and sandwiches are also outstanding. Love their drinks (great old fashioned, delivious cocktails). Highly recommend!

Good food, great service, and cool atmosphere. Really enjoyed my visit. Had a couple Goofballs, they were delicious. I also had the chicken and cheese melt for lunch, such a satisfying meal I still wasn’t hungry come dinner time.

The best wings I've had in an extremely long time. Our host Brian and server Jean Paul were excellent. The vibe and decor rocked and my dad even noticed a lounge as he went to the bathroom. Exceptional on every level, definitely a spot we will frequent when in VA.
