Food a hit or miss unless mike in the kitchen, all the staff was polite except the one black lady who didn’t want to give me silverware without asking a thousand questions about the ones we had on the table with no fork. I always tip decent but she short today

My wife and I were out and about and stopped here for lunch. My wife absolutely loved the Reuben and I enjoyed the patti melt. We had coffee and the cup was never empty. The cost about $12 apiece.

Welcome to Nix's!!!!!!! Churchland's best breakfast place with a little Greek flair!!!! Get some lunch and breakfast at this amazing place!!!! Only open til 3:30, so get it while it's hot!!!!! 2,3 and 4 egg omelets, eggs Benedict, hot ? pancakes and waffles! What a breakfast and lunch Paradise!!!!! The lunch specials come on at 11am (porkchop?, jambalaya, spaghetti, fish, hamburger steak, turkey and dressing, soup, ect. And the iced tea comes with it!!) thank God for the cooks and servers!!!! (Angela, Lynn, Keeks, ect. and all the rest!!!!!!!) They know what they are doing!!! It's so good you can hardly find a seat!! Had to expose my secret heavy artillery!!!!! You will leave happy in more ways than one and so will your wallet!!!! Come get some of the best eats in breakfast and lunch foods in the whole Hampton Roads/Tidewater area!

Quality and the quantity of the food for the price was spot on. Greeted quickly, served quickly and a good variety of choices. A locals hidden gem, I see why my Father in Law who rarely ate out, chose this spot. It's a come as you are atmosphere.

Burrito says it’s not much to look at, a real hole in the wall, but they are hiding good coffee and a solid b’fast behind the shabby looking exterior. Dumpling says it reminds him of solid older folks who know how to cook. Nothing fancy or pretentious. Friendly service, good portions, and a fair price.

The food was delicious the first time and probably would have been great the second time around. However the service and attendance of staff was so bad we left. Walked in and was told to sit anywhere. Sat for 18 min before anyone came by and that was to tell us that someone else would be by to wipe down our table. Heard the waitress tell another waitress to take our table , she didn't. 5 min later our table is still dirty and wet from a spilled drink. A young man comes looks at the table and proceeds to ask what we wanted to drink and take our order. From heavy experience with restaurants if the facility is swamped it's respectful to let the customer know there is a possible wait to be serviced. But to let the customer sit at a dirty table and keep passing off to different servers is just bad all around. After almost 25 min we left. Will not be returning.
