When I was in high school in the early 2000’s, I would walk around the mall with my friends. As we passed through the food court, we would always get excited to see the folks of Nori Japan passing out free samples of their “yummy yummy chicken”. Sometimes we would take a couple extra laps because it was so good! To see that they’re still around is truly a blessing to the heart of my childhood. Thank you for being here all these years.

Nori Japan... was probably the first place I ever tried teriyaki chicken all the way back in 2003 or 2004. I was blown away and by high school I was a fixture there ordering the teriyaki chicken with double meat, on rice or noodle, with no veg probably two to three times a month until I moved away. Then every single time I'm back home the first place I stop is at the Chesapeake Square Mall and sure enough the familiar faces that have been working and owning Nori Japan for...

Fantastic my finace and I have been going here for years and I've been going here since I was 6. I'm 20 now. I love it. it's my favorite food ever. Amazing staff As well.
