Exceptional service from Ajax also the hostess that greeted us allowed us to come in a little early since we are there before opening. It’s been a long time since I’ve dined at a outback steakhouse. Will return based on this experience alone
Ordered curbside pickup my order was prepared just the way I wanted it.

I never received the drink I ordered 😕? plus the food was over spiced and not hot enough when it got to the table, they tried to bring us someone else's appetizer, very unorganized and they were not that busy. Not going back I will stick with Longhorn! The outback and I are not compatible??

Ordered food to go and trying to be healthy. The chicken Caesar salad came with no chicken. What a waste of $20. No wonder they are on the verge of going bankrupt.

My husband picked up sirloin steak and shrimp combo for us to share. We had the house salad and sweet potato as the two sides. I can’t say I enjoyed any of the food. The shrimp had very little grilled flavor and they were present on a burnt half bread plank. Very unappetizing! The sirloin steak was cooked correctly but very small and again flavorless. The sweet potato was a skinny little potato. I didn’t taste it and I’m not sure what my husband thought of it. Finally the house salad was badly chopped iceberg lettuce including core, tomatoes, cheese, and red onion. It tasted a bit old. I don’t think we will give this restaurant another try.

GOD-AWFUL food. DO NOT EAT HERE!! I made an expensive mistake. I have eaten here before and had good food and okay food. It's been a year. I looked at reviews and was hesitant but I take reviews with a grain of salt. I should have trusted all of the bad reviews. I ordered my food for pick up and arrived right when the order was done. I ordered the steak/bloomin chicken combo. The steak was to be medium well. This steak was not only well done, it was super tough and rubbery. I was the biggest struggle trying to cut this monstrosity. The chicken was burnt and the smallest portion they could have provided. My baked potatoe was rock hard and my "fresh" seasonal veggies were also not good. My spouse got ribs and fries and they were not good either. Fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease and then microwaved. This cost basically $70 bucks. I'm this economy where people don't even know if they will have a job tomorrow, dining out is a once in a while luxury and we should not pay for bottom of the barrel food. I am so upset. It is too late to call and even if I do, they won't do anything. I want my money back as this was a huge waste and disappointment.

Went to this Outback, Portsmouth Blvd. Chesapeake on Valentines day 2/14/25 and my blooming onion had too much salt in the batter, the baked potato tasted salty as well, coconut shrimp was fried to hard, asked for a well done steak specifically told her didn't wanna see pink but I saw pink and the lady that took our order act like she couldn't hear. The food was literally over priced to not have the right flavor

Overall good. Arrived at 8:48pm, hostess asked how many of which I advised her it was just me. The hostess promptly informed me that closing time was 10pm. Her tone was as if I was holding her up or something. Then she seated me.
This was kind of off-putting as I looked up closing time before I even arrived and I also looked at the hours on the door. I promptly ordered my meal and drink, no appetizer, ate and expeditiously made my way out of the building as to not to hold up the hostess. I departed at 9:18pm. I believe she could use a refresher on making patrons comfortable to encourage sales, not hurrying people because she's wants to walk out the door at 9:45pm.
I had the 6oz fillet with 2 plain sweet potatoes. Server and and food were good.

Last night, my sister and I took my mom to Outback for dinner. Since there was a long wait, we decided to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, a little incident happened that put a damper on our celebratory moment. However, the manager and two bartenders were incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure we were satisfied with our dining experience in the end.
I misplaced the piece of paper with the manager and bartenders' names, but I'm sure they’ll remember my mom. She's in her 80s, though she certainly doesn’t look it.

Place has gone severely downhill over the past year or so. Always out of stock on numerous items. Quality has taken a hit and for never being busy its kind of a long wait

It's basically like a mcdonald's steakhouse. Microwaved items, poor steak selections.
