The best pho, hands down. The broth is absolutely unreal — rich, comforting, and so perfectly balanced it honestly feels like it rained straight from heaven into my bowl. Every sip was pure warmth and care.
The service was smooth and efficient, especially impressive on a snowy day, and the pho arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully prepared. From the first spoonful to the last, everything was simply amazing. This place is a true gem and easily my go-to for pho.

Weird experience. Dined in around 6pm. Only one other customer there. The server acted like we were bothering her just by being there. She spent all the rest of her time watching videos on her phone behind the desk, and loud enough that we could all hear it. I had to wave my hands at her to get water, which I’d already asked for when we ordered. She kind of grunted and then brought it over. Then went back to her videos. Pho was good. Probably a great place for Door Dash or to go orders, but don’t waste your time going in there to eat. Go to Pho 79. Right down the street and the food and staff are fantastic.

I have eaten at Pho Dalat on Eden Way for over 10 years. This restaurant prepares the most authentic Pho (beef, chicken, or duck) that I have ever had. The flavor of the pho is unmatched by any Vietnamese or Asian restaurant I have visited, in VA or elsewhere. The quality of the pho is evidence of a long cooking process, the right spices and meat, and pure expertise. Everything on the menu is excellent, well-prepared, and served if you're eating in the restaurant. However, the same has proven true for all my take-out orders. Nothing has ever been forgotten from my order, down to the utensils and chopsticks. In fact, whenever I have guests in town, Pho Dalat is one of my go-to restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant. In fact, during Restaurant Week in Hampton Roads, I wrote a newspaper article about this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not selected for that week's feature. However, this hidden gem in Chesapeake is worth a visit. And by the way, if you get sick during this cold and flu season, their chicken Pho is the best medicine.

The service we received was angry and almost nonexistent. The woman who served us treated us like we had done something horrible to her from the moment we walked in. the Pho was a 6 out of 10. Because of the service in the atmosphere will never be coming here and I’ll never recommend a friend to ever set for the establishment. Absolutely miserable.

By far the most beautiful food experience I’ve had in a long time, easily one of the top five meals I’ve ever had. The vegetable pho was absolutely out of this world. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making it a perfect place to truly enjoy a meal. The icing on the cake was the warm smiles and attentive customer service.

Thought I would try something new during the holiday since my favorite spot was closed. Food is great but customer service sucks!! Never been here before. We generally go to Pho 79…and I guess I’ll be sticking to what I know because 2 nights in a row while out shopping we stopped in at 9pm…they close at 10pm and the server told me and my daughter we had 15 min to eat our food. I was confused so I asked for clarification and yes that’s exactly what she mentioned. Now if I had been told this in advance, I would have made a decision to take out or eat in when we arrived not after ordering. Frankly I don’t need to patronize where I don’t feel valued as a customer. Someone entered after us and she didn’t provide the same instructions. She was nasty twice. Two days in a row and that’s enough for me! Thanks and no thanks, I will be returning to where I feel like a valued customer PHO 79!!

I’m only giving a 4 star because the food is always really good.
But.. after the experience I just had picking up my lunch, I don’t know that I will eat here again or for a very long time.
I don’t have any online pickup or delivery apps. I ordered my food online. I did not receive any notification stating that I ordered through door dash, as I do not have the app or a Door dash account. I received a confirmation code. When I arrived to pickup my food, I let the man know my name and showed him the confirmation number that matched the number on the receipt on the bag. He told me that I needed to confirm my pickup on door dash. I then expressed to him that I did not receive any notification for me to confirm pickup through door dash. I received an email to track my order and a txt with my confirmation code which again match the code on the receipt.
This man would not allow me to take my food unless I confirmed on door dash, which I had NO way of doing.
I then stated crying and having a lot of anxiety. I walked outside and called my husband who works closely to this establishment. He called the man, didn’t really get anywhere. I then went back inside and showed a different man my confirmation code and he finally allowed me to take my food.
If it wasn’t that hard, then why did the first man make it so hard and cause me so much stress trying to pickup my lunch on my lunch break.
I just don’t think I can return for some time.
Reading other reviews I see that similar things have happened to others and it does not make me feel very good.
Delicious!! We ordered the Combo 26 and Hue Noodles 10. Combo 26 included sprouts, cucumber, carrot, chicken, pork, and spring roll on a bed of vermicelli noodles, topped with green onions and peanuts. All of the meat was seasoned nicely and the nước chấm (sauce) was sweet and savory!! The Hue Noodles were slightly spicy and full of flavor. The meat was tender and the noodles were cooked very well. The Vietnamese Coffee is also yummy, strong and sweet! Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been a paying customer here for years but after this experience I won’t be ordering again.
My Grubhub order was marked delivered but nothing was at my door. I even told the driver we checked my next door neighbor since orders have been misplaced before but tbh it is not my responsibility to search the neighborhood for my food. The delivery photo didn’t show anything recognizable so we had no way of knowing where it actually went.
After I canceled a neighbor across the street called to say the food had been left at their house. Not long after the owner called me and spoke to me very rudely accusing me of scamming instead of listening to what actually happened. I tried to explain that the food simply wasn’t delivered to my address but he continued to blame me and said he would report me to Grubhub.
The food here has always been good but the way the owner handled this situation was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. No customer should be treated like that especially when the delivery error wasn’t their fault.
Think twice before ordering because the customer service does not match the quality of the food.
Yes my son went to get food from neighbor and we have it but I’ll be throwing it in the trash
