Had a very nice lunch here on SAT 12/27. Had a dozen hush puppies for a starter, plus 3 cups of she crab soup (very good). Entrees: Asian chicken salad, fish tacos, fried clam strips, and crab cake sandwich. All very good. Service from Shannon was good.
I really love the food but for the past several times I've had to call in for take out I've not liked the way the phone conversation has gone because the person that takes my order always sounds as if she is inconvenienced as her tone goes down and with attitude as soon as she hears my voice. Do I need to say more? It's ashame that it's like this because like I said I really do like the food, it's just this attitude I can do without.
We went at 1:30, the server was super nice and attentive.
We both ordered baked potatoes that has a $2.00 up-charge.
The potatoes arrived hard, cool to touch and under cooked.
The new potatoes were small, warm on the outside but cool on the inside.
We gave up! The shrimp were good and the flounder needed seasoning. The crab soup was delicious as always.
