Pollard's Chicken at Battlefield Blvd.

We ordered takeout so we didn't eat inside. It has been over 30 years since I ate at Pollards. The chicken was as good as I remember, and those puffs are still awesome!

Terrible customer service by Michael! Before ordering he was at the register and got mad because he saw the night crew “got a $14 tip and he didn’t get any of it”. He proceeded to turn around to load a tray for a customer and snatched the ticket followed by throwing the plastic utensils on the tray. That same customer asked for ice because the machine was out and he gave the gentleman an attitude as well. His demeanor was very rude the entire time and this is NOT the front line customer service you should want in your business!

Very Disappointing…we’ve been going to Pollards for years, and we never had a problem with our order. Yesterday, we ordered a 16 piece family meal with 4 sides. When we got home, we realized that we had been shorted a side. They forgot to give us our coleslaw. Also, the chicken was over cooked and dry. The meal was not up to Pollard’s normal standards. I expected more given what we paid for the meal.

Very disappointed that I didn't receive what we ordered. I ordered the 24 piece chicken tenders, with two sides of mashed potatoes, and an order of corn on the cob, also an order of cole slaw. It's my fault that I didn't check the bags. I remembered that their service was previously impeccable. The chicken was a correct count and delicious. The mashed potatoes were good. No corn on the cob, and no cole slaw. Instead, we got what looked like a dark brown applesauce, but no one here could tell what it was by the taste. No one liked it at all. For an $80 dinner, I expected to get what I ordered. This is why I no longer get fried chicken at Hardee's. I expected better from Pollards.

ere is a side room you can use for meetings. The atmosphere is ok for a mostly takeout restaurant. Employees were friendly and polite. I have been enjoying Pollards for over 25 years.

The location at great neck and the blvd is the best… the people there are so kind!!!! Recommend!!!!!!

We celebrate my dad on his birthday every year at Pollards because he loved the chicken. We had outstanding service by Ryan, Michael, Lucas, Sylvia, and everyone else working. Thank you all for making it a lovely time for our family! We recommend this chesapeake location, and we will be back!
