Whew.

This was an episode. Judging by the other reviews, the operator of this restaurant doesn’t care about making improvements. Let me tell you about my recent visit.

I waited 20 minutes for food that I ordered 10 minutes before I left my house. The food wasn’t hot. The wings were the wrong flavor. The wings were burnt. The fries were lukewarm and soggy. The kitchen was dirty. This was not a good experience. I see that when someone leaves a bad review, the store management responds with the same lines about caring about quality. Obviously, it’s lip service cause nothing has been improved.

My advice? Cook your own chicken. Recook it again. Let it sit for 2 hours. Put it in a box. Smash said box with a hammer. Serve it to yourself. Boom. You have Popeyes at home.

Waited 15 minutes for my order to be ice cold and other people to be served ahead of me I ordered a 12 piece and 2 Sides. I understand a wait if they have to cook the chicken but for cold food no. I will not be stopping there again. To many better choices for less money.

I ordered the surf and turf, pure garbage. I ordered an apple pie too instead I got strawberry and cream pie. They decided I didn’t need apple pie. They won’t be deciding no more shit for me

This location continues to hire the worst employees. Placed an order and arrived to pick it up 15 minutes later. The girl working the drive through had no clue an order had been placed and rudely told me I was going to have to pull around. I asked how long it would be and her reply was I don’t know he frying something else now, I pulled around and waited another 15 minutes. The same girl came out the door and flippantly said your chicken almost done. I said if it’s not coming out now I’d like to cancel. She said do it yourself in the app. It don’t matter to me I won’t have to pack your order. She then walked over to another employee who was sitting in his car and said you need to handle her. He came over and was actually very nice and went in and packed my order. The potatoes were dry, the rolls as hard as bricks but I guess at least the wings were good. Terrible, rude service.

Dirty, they never have any food, poor customer service. Argumentative when confronted, no apology from the manager. The location needs to close. Popeyrs in chesspeake on cedar rd.

The drive thru did not greet, verify what I ordered, or thanked me once I paid and asked for me to park at the front of the restaurant. Waited for over 20 mins then had to go inside the restaurant to pickup my order. Realized when I got home the food: chicken tenders and the basket shrimp was horrible. Did not get the large Cajun fries with a 8 piece Chicken family meal. It was totally disappointing.

Who in there right mind would send out burnt Mac and cheese please do not serve anything from the bottom of the pan or anything that is burnt... Go elsewhere it seems they really do not care.

Did on-line order food wasn't ready when I arrived. Had to wait an additional 30mins. This is the second time this had happened at this location.

Took 45 minutes to get a three piece combo. Chicken was inedible and burnt up. I threw it away. So disappointed!

This place is awesome the food is hot the fries are large the tea is great. And the bathroom is clean so what more can you ask for

it guess it hit or miss came here 330 no food was mad I got 2 orders of fries and tenders everything was old and cold I won't come back ti this location something told me not to come here today dude gave me the crumbs of fries that was left that he scraped the cold pan for management sucked that's pose to be two orders of fries large at that half the box empty the chicken was sooooooo hard it tore up the roof of my mouth very dry. There has to be a time limit food can sit out before you serve it to people cause this was terrible taste was terrible. Only thing that was good was the sprite. And now I feel nauseated after a few bites no this did it for me i wont be back to this location. I have the worst taste in my mouth. The brick biscuit taste stale. Alright as for spicy tenders i'm guessing he did not have enough cause he snuck in regular like I would not know the difference. This was an all around horrible experience.

Very good chicken, spices chicken. The service needs attention.
