Just a plain great sandwich!
Had the fried egg sandwich with bacon and cheese. You can’t get better than that. Bread was toasted, cheese was melty, bacon was crisp and not paper thin. All the ratios were right.
Service was friendly and fast, price was right.
I’m in town on business and have been trying different places with no luck, fast food breakfast just isn’t as exciting as it used to be. I used to come to Poppy‘s years ago and really liked the hotdogs. I grabbed a breakfast sandwich at Hardee’s the other day, and as I was leaving, I noticed that Poppy’s was open for breakfast. I tried it today and I found my new favorite fast food breakfast spot. I just want a place right off the freeway, that’s affordable and fast with good food, Poppy’s is it, and you can support a local business.
Respectful, humble people. Service and establishment are great. The epitome of excellence.
You will get your money worth in food, quality, and conversation.
Overall an average place to eat. Orders can get lost, causing an unnecessary wait. The cook staff is constantly overwhelmed during rushes.
Building and online says they are open on Wednesdays…. Disappointed is an understatement
I love this spot right here it has a old fashioned dinner experience.
10/10, highly recommend! Poppy's is the best diner in town.

This is one of the places I been going to Since it opened me and a few guys would go to lunch there good food hot dog, Hamburgers club sandwich and good breakfast sandwich also.
What a hidden Jewel in South Norfolk. Well, it isn't for the locals!! Great food and family atmosphere!!

It's always a treat to eat here.
I liked the service and the food, but it was a little overpriced. The food was really small. I expected a footlong sub when ordering a Chicken Philly, but instead, got a 6 inch. It was good though.
