This was a mixed bag. The entrance was confusing. They don't have a hostess which also made things confusing. It was like a restaurant where they didn't have waitresses but only barkeepers and was more of a bar room setting. Very loud environment for just a lunch. The service was decent but glad it wasn't so packed or else it would have been horrible. It seemed two kids in a booth belonged to one of the staff. The food was amazing. Me and my wife both ordered the Special which was Turkey and Swiss on Sour Dough Bread. It was so delicious!! We debated about sharing a meal but didn't because we didn't know the portion size. But they did great on the portions. No one walked out with leftovers.

The food is usually great but it’s a shame that the wait staff is subpar at best. They ignored me for 15 minutes and then begrudgingly waited on me 5 minutes after I heard one of their regulars say
“ you know no one has helped that lady right? “ Didn’t receive a greeting or smile - just a “what can I get you?” I was told Monday that Coronas were on Happy Hour , but noticed on my check that they were not after I ordered one tonight.
I also wasn’t informed there was a credit card up charge and only noticed it after I got home.

I LOVE THIS BAR

I've been here a few times to smoke and play pool hanging out with friends but never had a chance to try the food, the nachos are amazing definitely some of the best in the area!

The fish and chips were terrible, I got two orders of fish and chips just for the breading on the fish to be soggy and pale… I was told there would be 8 pieces of pollock but it’s just like 1 piece of fish cut up into 8😭
The photo on google is NOTHING like what you get. Then again it’s a bar… serving BAR food. Maybe good drunk food but not sober. Do not recommend

A great local bar and grill in Great Bridge!! Always great service, great food and a lot of fun! There is non-smoking restaurant section in front of bar, as well as an open air and tent area outside in the front. Depending on the day of the week, one or both of these areas have live music throughout the week and on the weekends! Always a good time!!!The back of the bar has a smoking section and home for 4 pool tables. I love playing pool so that is where I spend most of my time. I have made this great little gem in Chesapeake my home away from home. I love the entire staff, the patrons, and fellow pool league members! Everyone treats me like family and I always feel welcome at Redbones! You gotta give them a try if ever in Chesapeake!

Reasonable prices and good fare, set in a tavern/bar atmosphere they put on a good plate. The grouper I had was a generous portion with minimal breading and the fries lightly salted, the coleslaw was tasty but would have preferred a slightly larger portion but against the grouper portion, I was happy with the plate size thick fillet. Our party of 5 had little or no concerns except our OBX native comments on the she crab soup perhaps needed a bit less Old Bay and fresher crab however the bowl was empty and it is a tall order to hit the mark for every customer in an area with multiple variations and presentation of she crab soup aside from personal preference.

Slow service, ordered food over 2 hrs after the music band started. They told me they were out of mussels after I came to ask where my food was. Then I ordered a large fries, closed the tab, and after 45 minutes, still no food. Very disappointed, first time here and will not come back again.

The burger I got was delicious service was great, it's a bar so the atmosphere is what it is.

The blackened shrimp lunch special was phenomenal! The fresh made old bay fries were a perfect compliment to the seasoned, large shrimp. Our server was helpful and a delight to talk to, and the atmosphere is fun and festive! This was a great find on our way from the Norfolk airport to the Outer Banks!

LEGIT!!! Every Saturday night… outside is cool, live music, GREAT FOOD!!! Serious SERIOUS! Have never had a bad meal!

Everyone is always the best; the service is impeccable and the food is incredible.

It was Great, the waitress was on point, polite and attentive. Food was quick and very good. Prices were fantastic, we will return
