Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Gelati is great

Ooff! I know everything is getting expensive but charging $2.58 for (2) sprinkles ( on a kids ice that I already paid for a custard upgrade) upcharge which was probably equivalent to 2 Tablespoons of sprinkles total is just not cool. We had our one visit for the summer and will frequent other ice cream places.

We brought our service dog in when purchasing ice cream for our kids. An older man, perhaps the owner, came out and said, “no dogs allowed.” He didn’t ask if it was a service dog, and had no signs posted that dogs are not allowed. We will not be returning to this business, and wouldn’t have purchased food from them at all if our small kiddos weren’t already excited about getting ice cream.

They had a wide selection of Italian ice flavors (about 20). Got 2 smalls for about $8. Both had a mix of 2 flavors. Mango pineapple (pictured on the right), pineapple flavoring wasn’t very accurate. The Strawberry Lemon (on the left) was pretty accurate. They even had some strawberry seeds inside. Both were very refreshing. They should sell a smaller size, I couldn’t finish it. Funny thing is is that it still smells like bleach in there. The Staff was nice, helpful, and quick. I’ve been to some of their other locations that are way better. I will probably return to try the other flavors.

We got a small mango gelati here. Flavor & prep were very good. What was SHOCKING was the 14% TAX on the frozen treat. Wow - why is the tax so high here?!?

Best custard ice cream in town!

Very refreshing. It was a first for me and my mother. The young lady was super nice and explained what custard even is. The place was very clean even the restroom was spotless. Will be back.
