Not sure how they determine what flavors to have but they hardly ever have lemon Italian ice. This is the fifth time I've tried in a week plus the young staff are rude!

Rita's is my favorite spot for a cool frozen treat on a hot summer day. The ice flight is awesome and great value, you can choose 4 flavors. It was perfect for my nieces and nephew to share. I always get the Gelati with Cherry and Vanilla

I decided to take my Best friend to experience my most favorite Italian ice from my childhood and its safe to say that its taste even better than i remember! The awesome employees allowed us to sample some of the ice flavors and explained to my friend what exactly Rita' is all about. I ordered a large gelati with coconut cream ice and vanilla custard. It tasted like a vacation in a cup i higly recommend

Visited this location earlier today in which I purchased two items. Upon going into my Rita's app I noticed that I had a coupon for a free small frozen coffee. I returned back to use the coupon however was advised that they were out of vanilla ice to make the frozen coffee. I spoke with the team lead (Katrina) asking if she could substitute the free small frozen coffee with a small gelati or something else. She said she could not and proceeded to be very unsolution oriented and advised me that it wasn't her fault that I had waited a month to use the coupon. Her statement was extremely RUDE. I advised her that I hadn't noticed it until earlier today and asked her "how was it my fault that I am visiting an frozen ice/custard establishment but you all are running out of products? "I have supported this location for 12 years and if this horrible experience isn't resolved, this business nor any other Rita's that is owed by this owner will never receive my support again.I would think that the daughter of the owner would have been more customer friendly than she was. She could have even called her Dad who is the owner to consult what options she could extend however her failure to do so mirrored her consistent lack of customer service.Additionally, the fact that Katrina wouldn't sub the coupon for a different product was concerning since the woman in front of me ordered an ice coffee but because the coupon wouldn't scan she told her that she was "alright." Not sure how Katrina could tell me that she couldn't sub the small frozen coffee since everything had to be accounted for but was willing to not worry about scanning the coupon of the lady that was in front of me?Hoping to remove and replace this review once this concern has been received.

The emails have started. Rita stays blowing up my inbox, and when I got a free coupon for one of the new products: a frozen coffee, off to Rita's we went.Parking was fine, it's a shared lot but we've never had issues (fingers crossed). Line can get pretty long but it usually moves at a decent pace. It helps with people knowing what they want and the Rita's themselves having a smaller selection to choose from.I'm basic. Give me a small twisted frozen custard in a cup and I'm a happy camper. My kiddos LOVE Rita's and have been happy each time. Their favorites seem to be Cotton Candy and Juicy Pear. That pear was fantastic, and if you see it, I highly recommend you at least sample it.I recommend downloading the app and creating an account. If you scan your app when you pay, you'll start earning your way to a free small ice, frozen custard or gelati! All it takes? 7 visits!Per the email: ***Free coffee reward issued to all app users on 4/17/23, and new users that sign up by 5/7/23.***Rita's is definitely on our Summer 2023 bingo card.

It was really strange to walk in to make eye contact with one of the ladies at the counter as she was rolling her eyes.. hopefully not because we were walking in. We only meant to stay for about 10 mins, definitely before closing. Kinda felt like she was annoyed while I was ordering (haven't had Rita's In a while so I asked like three questions my bad). Also kinda felt like we were being rushed out by the same lady. The other lady was at least really nice. We were aware that the "dining area" itself closed at quarter til, but take orders til 9pm. Idk I'm so used to people being really nice between Chesapeake and VB, the vibes last night were off, so maybe it was just an off night for her. Kids enjoyed. The Gelati was just ok, I've had custard that had the custard seemed slightly lacking in flavor (love custard). The mango ice was good.
