We are regular customers. We are Native New Yorkers. This is the closest to home.

Food was good. Ordered chicken parm and pep pizza. Pizza crust is on softer side and sauce is pretty garlicky. I enjoyed it. Delivery was quick and order was 100% accurate.

Posting this on all 4 locations.

I am originally from NY and had 3 NYers visiting from NY. We had a total of 7 taste testers for today's experiment.

So with so many commercials and advertisement on "NY style" pizza we decided to have a taste off.

Dominos, $12.31 (N Battlefield).

Sal's, $20.15 (N Battlefield)

Papa John's, $12.31 (S Battlefield)

Ray's, $18.91 (Cedar Rd)

Bottom line. The clear winner was Sal's, the clear loser was Ray's. We normally order Domino's (Cedar Rd) and can say we were all disappointed with this location.

The NYers didn't think any of the pizzas looked NY style.

Papa John's sauce was very sweet. Ray's was VERY salty. Sal's not only won the taste test, but also had the best feel of a NY pizza.

Sal's was the most expensive but also the largest. Dominos and Papa John's were the same price. PJ was bigger, but Domino's offered 3 toppings.

This place is trash! Customer service is trash!! Came by 11:00 am and the store was closed. What kind of pizza restaurant opens that late? They also don’t open on Tuesdays. Fix the schedule on google!! The pizza is not even that good for them to act like this

Delicious NY style pizza in Chesapeake. We always order a whole pie, so it’s really fresh.

NY pizza in the heart of Chesapeake. Delicious pie made to order just like any good pizza out of NY area. The menu has lots of other great options such as the Chicken Parm Hero or their crispy chicken wings. You won’t be disappointed. Bon appetit ?
