Just found this place! We lost our Captain D's in Chesapeake. Shrimp Shack is basically similar, but a bit pricier. Place order at counter. They bring out. Self serve drinks. Food was freshly fried, and not greasy at all. They have ample seating. We enjoyed it and will return.
Had it for the first time and got the grilled shrimp and fried whiting Po' boy. If you're not a spicy sauce person then get their sauce on the side to try it first. The coleslaw was "meh" on it's own but AMAZING on the sandwich. They were fast, even for an online order. Everyone was super friendly. It's got plenty of space to sit and eat but it didn't come across like it would be comfortable. It's some of the best seafood you can get in the 757 without going to a dine-in restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: At the location in Suffolk they were accommodating to my guest's shellfish allergy.
