Burger was good. Milkshake took forever to get made and we were already done eating by the time I got it. employee at the counter had zero emotion.

This was my first time at Smash Burger and I was looking forward to getting a really good burger. The cashier was friendly, but the rest of the experience wasn’t all that great. I waited 15 minutes for my food. The burger was incredibly salty and the edges were burnt. The fries were cold. I have to say I’m disappointed. It was not worth the $18 (which included a fountain drink)

I have eaten here before and the food was good if a bit pricey. Leaving a harsher review because they advertise kids eat free in-store (not dine-in), but according to the cashier, you can not order online in combination with the kid offer.
Edit: Smashburger has reached out and shows genuine intent on improving customer relations. Hopefully, the advertisement will be a bit clearer, and I, too, will edit my review to reflect the miscommunication on both sides.

While the food and service from the staff were good overall, I will not be back. The food prices are ridiculous. We paid 48 dollars for just two burgers, fries, drinks, and a kid's meal. They do not offer combo meals, so think of it as a five guys but with a different name. The bathrooms were also pretty gross. We wanted to try something different and decided we would stop by. Next time, though, I would rather go to an actual restaurant for the price. My burger was almost 10 dollars. My drink was 3.29 for a smaller size, and my fries were another 4 dollars and some change. That's for 1 person.

Walk in it’s only one other customer eating no one spoke the young lady just stands at the other end of the register when I actually walk down to her she never opens her mouth to speak…saved my money and went to the Norfolk location
For the longest time Shake shack has been our favorite, but ever since we tried smash burger here in Greenbrier, they are our new favorite place to get burgers and shakes! We love the fact that they have other options than just American cheese. The Burgers are ALWAYS super fresh and tasty and they’re actually “seasoned”. My husband loves the fact that he’s able to customize his burger by adding Red onion And extra patties (quadruple). Tots and fries are great, and you can always request less olive oil. Brussels sprouts were surprisingly tasty. I normally only like them when I cook them, but they were pretty good. We finally tried the shakes and they’re made with Häagen-Dazs ice cream, which is a plus for me. They were creamy and delicious and served in the old-fashioned glass Shake cups. The manager and staff are always very pleasant and helpful. Our family looks forward to each visit! I hope they expand with more locations to include Virginia Beach and Norfolk.

Burgers were disgusting, had no flavor. Tenders were the frozen tenders just heated up. Fries had a nasty seasoning on it that tasted like rosemary? Idk but very odd & nasty taste. The restaurant was dirty like nobody had cleaned it all day, all tables were disgusting as well as the floors. 1/10. Def wouldn’t recommend
