So let me tell you im 59 an ate alot of Q in my day southside by far kicks all there asses super big sandwich homemade Q , i have got grisel , fat , or anything other than a mouthful of delish every bite kudos to the pit master

Edit: Tried the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Glad I didn’t get the Big Chix, the regular was big enough for me.

This is a lot of great food for a great price. I was working in the area over two years ago and really liked this place, I am back and stopped in for a late lunch and nothing has changed. Everybody is very friendly, the food is exceptional and the price is affordable.
I got two chicken leg quarters, which comes with two sides, I got the mac & cheese and the coleslaw. It also comes with a roll, I went ahead and added a drink. The food was $10, with the drink I think I paid $12.
I ordered less than two hours before they closed and the chicken was still very moist. I like their Mac-n-cheese and the Cole slaw was delicious. I had one the other day that was dry and tasteless, there’s is very moist, with a great flavor.

You can’t go wrong with any item on the menu.
Prices are more than reasonable, you will get your money’s worth.

Very small, excellent BBQ. chicken was fantastic, pulled pork some of the best I've had. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return.

Awesome BBQ place. Stopped by on lunch while I'm training out here and Chesapeake andim blown away. The BBQ sandwich is massive, the banana pudding is amazing and the coleslaw was pretty good. The BBQ sauce was fire 🔥

This food is amazing!!! Stopped here on way back to office. Got the bbq combo and let me tell you the sandwich was loaded!! Had enough bbq to make another one!!! Green beans and mac and cheese was also good!! Will definitely be going back!!

The pork, macaroni, and green beans were really great. The service as well as the homemade cakes were outstanding! We loved the prince cake.
We were there on Good Friday, and we also enjoyed the homemade peanut butter Easter eggs.
We live up north but plan to stop whenever we're in the area to pick up a few days of bbq, sides, and desserts.

Absolutely love this place. Everyone on the staff was friendly and welcoming. The decor will keep you entertained. For your very short wait time. Food was delicious. Looked and smelled so good that I forgot to take a picture for this review. Had to dig right in. Very reasonably priced too. Can't wait to go back.
