Food was delicious. Great service! Amiable and helpful. I even purchased some VA gifts for our speakers which they loved.

Location is nice. A lot of seating. Service was super super slow. We waited nearly 30min for two sandwiches. This was our first time here and it appears this operation is not efficient AT all. Maybe they’re short staffed, and if this is the case preface the order with that information to manage expectations.

The service was very poor. I came in with plenty of time before close but the girls at the counter acted like my order was an inconvenience and they were very rude. I didn’t appreciate their attitude when I only wanted to get a quick sandwich. The staff could use an update on their customer service training.

Really great food. Pricey, but high quality you can taste. Enjoyed the herb shrimp. Great place to grab and go for later. Have not tried their sandwiches. We always just stop for snacks.

We ordered Chicken Pot Pie soup. It was horrible and arrived at room temperature (definitely didn't meet Health Dept standards). We often get this item at another location in Va Beach and it is delicious.. what's up with the Chesapeake location and why isn't the manager on top of this?

The sandwiches at Taste never disappoint. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful.

Dining in. We informed staff that one of us had a gluten allergy and we needed the dish to be celiac safe. She agreed to remove the farro from the Mediterranean bowl to make it safe. Upon receiving the bowl, after mixing it and about to eat it we had to look closely and we discovered there had instead been extra farro put into the bowl, which is not celiac safe. To the staff’s credit, when we explained the situation they remade the bowl, but still, this shouldn’t be happening.

I was so excited to take my friend to Taste for the first time because I’ve always loved it — especially the Ghent location. But we ended up going to the Greenbrier one, and honestly, I was pretty disappointed.

The girl who took our order was super sweet, but the girl who brought our food over basically tossed the tray on the table and said “enjoy” in the most annoyed tone. It kind of killed the vibe.

If I’m going to spend around $40 on sandwiches, I’ll just stick to the Ghent location where I’ve always had a great experience. The food was still good, but the attitude definitely wasn’t it.

Forgot half my order, even though I asked twice if it was everything

I actually stopped in to pick up some biscuits for breakfast. The Sweet Potato and the Jalapeno ones are my favorite. They are always flaky and tender.
Just pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes, slather with butter, delicious!

I get brunswick stew every 3 weeks. 4 weeks ago, great, this week, thin, no flavor broth and terrible! No consistency for months! I give up!!!

Overall, everything is nice here however The attendant at checkout is always on her phone when I go in there instead of prioritizing customers.

Sandwich was mediocre with barely any of the meat I paid $2 extra for. Staff acted like they were inconvenienced by doing their job. Other locations are better.

I love this place so much. Their sandwiches are delicious and fresh. We also bought the chocolate covered penut and it was yummy. We finished the whole can for 2 days! Yum!
