Went to TGIF today after the lunch rush. They were short-staffed and we were informed the kitchen was a little behind, which wasn’t an issue for us as we were willing to be patient. The waitress was friendly and relatively quick to greet us and get us our drinks and our appetizer. We left after our appetizer though, as there were employees yelling/arguing and using expletives where customers could hear. There was even the threat of fighting. It was absolutely ridiculous. We had a one year old child with us and have no desire to be around that type of behavior at what is supposed to be a family restaurant. We will not be returning to this restaurant again. Such a shame, as we typically love Fridays (we used to go to the one in Midlothian, VA before moving back to Hampton Roads). As an additional note, the menus we received were filthy and grimy.
Kid-friendliness: Not at all. Unprofessional —employees yelling/arguing with each other in front of customers, using expletives and threat of fighting.

I wish there were new words in the English language that could emphasize how urgently this place should be shut down. I also wish that I could use curse words in this review to better express myself....don't go here

My Wife ordered the Chicken Fajita Skillet; the Grill Chicken was over cooked, the Shrimp was burnt, and the mash potatoes were extremely dry, The Dragon Salmon was a small portion...it was described as such; if you were to put your index and middle fingers together (think of an Asian), describes the thickness of the Salmon, and if you were to include the finger nails, the portion was too much. ($20) The rice was clumpy, but that all depends on the type of rice the restaurant is using. Somewhat similar to that of Chinese rice. The Salad was good though... Props to our Server, China. She took the blunt of our criticisms like a champ. China attitude remained positive and professional and continued to wait on our table as we articulated our dissatisfaction of the Cook

Update: we walked in, sat at the bar for over 5 minutes. Several employees observe us sitting there. Not a single employee acknowledged us being there or offered anything. We eventually get up and walk out!! Service has definitely changed!

I enjoy this place. I've only been a couple times but surprisingly each time I went it was a great experience! The food was hot when it made it to our table , fresh , and didn't take them long to prepare. It's a very clean restaurant. To be honest what really took me away was the waitress/server we had recently! I believe her name was Shonta (not sure if I spelled that correctly) lol but she was very polite , helpful with the menu selection, being that ive only been a handful of times and never know what to choose. We didn't sit too long before she came to greet us with a smile and got our drinks. She checked on us continuously and our drinks stayed full. So overall great place and the server just put the cherry on top of the sundae, will def visit again!
I recently had the pleasure of being served by Shonta at TGIF, and I must say that her exceptional service truly made my dining experience memorable. From the moment we sat down, Shonta greeted us warmly with a genuine smile and took great care of us throughout the meal. Her attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly demeanor really stood out. Shonta went above and beyond to ensure that our orders were accurate and delivered promptly. She was also very accommodating to any special requests we had. Her professionalism and positive attitude made us feel welcomed and valued as customers. I highly recommend dining at TGIF and requesting Shonta as your server for a top-notch experience. Thank you, Shonta, for going the extra mile to make our visit enjoyable. We will definitely be returning soon!

Going to Friday's on Volvo parkway was a beautiful experience. Had the opportunity to have a waitress by the name of shonta Dillard and she's so bubbly and authentic she made sure we had great service thank you
