Best salad I've ever had. Exceptional! This place is a hidden gem.

Great atmosphere and service. We were greeted promptly and our food came out fast. Pictured is the avocado club with sweet potato fries. It was pretty good!

Service was exceptional. We were there after lunch rush so we easily seated. Prices were reasonable. I had the Vegan Blackened Chicken Pita. It was tender with just the right amount of heat. Nestled in a fresh pita with garden greens, mango and a wonderful aioli drizzle. From this omnivore who enjoys plant based foods.... simply delicious. The side of sweet potato fries were fabulous! And the chickpea soup my mom ordered was so special I ordered a bowl to go (they prepared it to be ready just as we finished meal). If I lived in the area (medical visit nearby), they would know me by name. From the chatter at the other tables it was clear that this establishment is a go-to for flat out good food. Love this place. Looking forward to making it a point to return!

Been going here for years now and I still don't understand how a place this good exists in a city like Chesapeake.

This place always has the best fresh food options! The staff is super friendly! Today I tried the chicken and dumplings and it was the best I’ve ever had. It may actually be the best soup I’ve ever had in general! So good!

This is the most revolting restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. After we ordered our food we sat down then noticed every vent on the ceiling was covered in mold and dust clumps. It was absolutely disgusting and every vent looks like this. One of the vents had a walnut sized clump of dust hanging from it. We ended up getting our food to go then just throwing it away. I would never eat at an establishment that is this dirty.

We ordered the Wasabi Braised Beef and the Salmon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. The Wasabi Braised Beef wasn’t really my thing…the taste didn’t quite hit the mark for me. However, I absolutely loved the Salmon Burger! The pickled carrots added a fantastic crunch and flavor that surprisingly complemented the burger really well…I usually don’t even like carrots on my burger, but this worked perfectly. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They also offer a good selection of vegan options, which is a nice touch.

My friends and I went to this café for the very first time today, and as we were going to the door, a young man came out and we asked him is the food any good and what did you order? He say he always get the salmon avocado. We told him that we never been there before and he was generally surprised as he said “WHAT!!!!!” his expression was hilarious, but he told us we will enjoy the food and we did. They had to close early, but they never rushed us. I got, well three of us ordered the Wasabi brisket with with a tangy coleslaw, topping sandwich and sweet potato hot fries. DEFINITELY DELICIOUS! I could not eat it all and two of us had to take half of it home To eat for our dinner. We live in Richmond, but we come through there just about every Tuesday. Gonna make it my mission to stop in again.

Ate here for the first time on 8/22/2025 and ordered the pimento cheese panini and it was excellent! Very great sandwich and had a side of sweet potato fries which were also excellent. Wife had a salad that was very large and she enjoyed, this place is definitely on our list of places we will frequent. Highly recommend, great food.

Great spot for healthy options. We really enjoyed the cheeseburgers, sweet potato fries, the sesame chicken salad, and tomato basil soup. A hidden gem for healthier eaters.
