Veronica clean. Love the atmosphere. Bathroom clean and smells fresh. Staff very friendly.
Lots of choices of yogurt and toppings to try. Store was neat and clean.
A great place for froyo, but with a major safety concern for its young staff.
Our family's recent visit to Skinny Dip was soured by a troubling incident. Shortly after a group of young men left the store, my friend, who was with me, pointed out that they had helped themselves to products and walked out without paying.
What's more alarming is what the two high-school-aged employees told us afterward. They said thefts like this happen on a weekly basis, and they were left to handle it alone, with no manager or owner on-site. They also mentioned the owner is aware of these recurring incidents but has not taken action to prevent them.
This is unacceptable. It places young employees in a vulnerable and unsafe position without any support. The well-being and safety of your staff should be a top priority.
I strongly urge the ownership to take immediate corrective action. At a minimum, a manager should be present during all shifts, clear protocols for handling theft must be established, and employees need to have the resources and support to feel secure at their workplace.
Response - Thank you for your response. I'm providing this feedback not to be difficult, but because I was genuinely concerned by what I witnessed.
While I appreciate you clarifying your official policy, it does not reflect the reality of the situation I observed in your store. If there was a shift leader present, they were not visible or actively managing the front of house. The young employees were the only ones dealing with the disruption, and they appeared overwhelmed and unsure of how to act.
You are correct that I may have misidentified what was being taken. However, whether it was merchandise or sample cups is beside the point. The core of my concern is that a group of individuals was allowed to create a disruptive environment, taking items from the store without consequence, which left both your staff and other customers visibly uncomfortable. The issue was the lack of senior leadership to de-escalate the situation and support the younger staff.
My feedback was based on my direct experience as a customer. Suggesting it is inaccurate is dismissive. It is the perception of an unsafe and poorly managed environment that I am highlighting, which is a valid concern for any patron. I am glad to hear you have procedures in place, but I would urge you to ensure they are being consistently followed.
why does it say theyβre closed at 9:30 when really they lock the door at 9:15 ? yall arenβt really open until 9:30 more like 9:15 π
I went to this frozen yogurt location with hunger in my stomach and a passion for something sweet. Iβve been to plenty of good places like sweet frogs and cold stones but nothing can top the experience I had today. The staff were excellent and I love their funny little shirts. Not to mention the yogurt was delicious and the toppings were scrumptious. I wouldnβt even have complained if everyone working was on their phones when I walked in, thatβs how excellent and attentive they were as soon as I entered. Would recommend to anyone hungry in the Hansberry area. I WILL be skinny dipping again!!!!
The best yogurt and employees π
The yogurt ice cream is great. Unfortunately the staff were busy on their phones when we came in and did not greet us but they were friendly when we went to check out. I would suggest less phone time for the front staff in order to greet customers appropriately when they come in. Thank you so much for the wonderful ice cream!
Dietary restrictions: One vegan option
Kid-friendliness: Seems friendly enough for kids. I would suggest covering the food options so they aren't just left out in the open for anyone to touch
Wheelchair accessibility: Unsure but plenty of space to move around

I came to praise this store on their excellent customer service, and I am stunned to see so many negative reviews. I had come into this location this week and was instantly greeted by the nice young lady at the front. I have quite a bit of allergies and it is difficult to find anything delicious AND allergen free. The nice young lady answered all of my questions regarding ingredients and had such a great attitude despite my long list of needs. She even asked me what flavor of Skinny 8 I would like to see next since that is the only flavor I can have at the moment. I think this goes beyond the expectations of great customer service. Unless there are more blonde young women working for this store, I find it very hard to believe she was of no help to previous customers. I was asked how my day was going, if I found everything okay despite our struggles, and was thanked for my business. When I was not being helped, the employee was cleaning, which was great to see amidst the upcoming flu season. I will definitely be returning to this store more often. It is not like me to leave reviews even ones of this length, but I have never felt more welcomed in a store than I have this week.

The last two times we have not received the right amount of our order. Hardly any yogurt and lots of topping. Not large enough to cost 12.50 each. We have been ordering from here for over a year. Very sad to say we probably will stop ordering.

So, apparently after I paid $27 dollars for two cups. It became FREE!.. Today 9-7-2024 about 3.20 the young blonde girl was giving away free cups with toppings to her friend right in front of customers. Then left my wife and I there in the store by ourselves. She went in the back for about 20 minutes. And was there when we left. And four of the flavors were orange. Even the vanilla. Nasty, I'll not be back.

From reading the other comments apparently my experience was a pretty common one. Even from years agoβ¦ same exact experience.Came in for the first time with my family and there was no staff present. I had questions considering we had never been and had to ask a customer if they knew since I couldnβt find anyone who worked there. When we were done getting our froyo and heading to the register two young guys came from the back and didnβt acknowledge us at all. I said hello and the only response I got was the total. A whopping $45 for 3 froyos. As soon as they got done checking us out without any other words they headed right back to wherever place they had been before only reappearing to take the money when someone would come to the register.I guess the prices are so high so they can get as much money from a customer as possible since it is unlikely theyβll return, at least we wonβt. Froyo was subpar in addition. I feel robbed.
