It was better than any other hibachi that we've ever been to. Family friendly and friendly owners. Excellent meat and vegetables!

As someone who can’t have gluten or dairy this place made me want to cry with how accommodating they were. I was able to eat hibachi fried rice and sushi that were all gluten free and dairy free! Absolutely amazing place for those with allergies

From the first greeting,I knew I loved these people! Sweetest waitress we've had in a long time. The Tokyo roll exceeded our expectations. I dont like cream cheese in my rolls but however they paired that roll was deeeelish! The volcano was the perfect amount of light&airy crisp every bite . Loved the fact these rolls weren't overly huge due to rice. My son&I were surprised to find gyoza with what appeared to be a fresh homemade sauce. The miso was rich in flavor. Highly recommended this place! I wish the rolls had more because they were so delish.haha Honestly the gyoza,3 rolls& soup had this mama& teenage son duo perfectly satisfied without regret we ordered or ate too much. So refreshing to taste the love they put in their food!

Wonderful service from this family run Japanese cuisine restaurant!! The place was packed and our food was picture perfect (LOL!) & DELICIOUS. The Edamame was salted & steaming! Both the Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura outstanding appetizers, with light crisp batter. The Shrimp Fried Rice, perfectly prepared. And the regular Sashimi was fresh & tasty as was my Alexandria Roll! PERFECT MEAL!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😋

Great staff. It's a small restaurant, but that makes it even better and cozier. Sushi was dynamite.

Tokyo is a small business operated by a few sweet people. You'll see the same workers every time you come and they will recognize you too. Our family lived in Japan for 3 years, and this place makes the best Japanese food we've had since we moved back to America. This is the only place we are regulars at. The food is always fresh and delicious, it's never too crowded, and the owners love children, so to us, it doesn't feel stressful to bring our multiple toddlers. We love Tokyo!

Restaurantji Recommends
We ordered the Sashimi platter, geisha roll and steak and shrimp hibachi. Everything was absolutely delicious. The rolls were melt in your mouth. The staff (and owners?) were very attentive. The place, albeit tiny, is cozy and just screams family owned. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for high quality typical Japanese fare.

Decided to give this restaurant a second try because the first one was unsuccessful and I wanted to be fair. I’m not sure how this got nearly a 5 star rating but it’s absolutely inaccurate. Chicken teriyaki was dry and seemed reheated. Sushi seems relatively fresh but the portions are embarrassingly small. Flavors of the $14 roll were underwhelming. This place is a joke and you should just write it off and go somewhere else. I wish I hadn’t given them a second try.
Edited to one star because after eating and waiting it just got worse.
Very attentive staff as well as being sweet natured. Clean great tasting sushi. Enjoyed my food very much.
Very over priced. The specialty rolls were very small, only 6 tiny pieces for $14 a roll. Not sure what the pictures are of in the other reviews but that is not what our rolls looked like. The gyoza is fried but seemed stale. It could have been frozen gyoza from Costco. The sauce was not good. It was served cold and was bitter with an overly vinegar flavor. Our server was kind, no problems there. Very disappointed with the price vs quality.
Great food and friendly staff. I'll definitely go back
