Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I live closest to this one so this is a trusted review of the place’s consistency. I only ever get a regular degular Paradise Point and this location cannot seem to ever get the flavor right. Only this location I’ve had this problem but tonight was the straw on camels back. Doesn’t even taste like anything close to a Paradise Point. Usually seems like the forget one of the THREE ingredients along with forgetting turbinado sugar here and there. But tonight does it. I will be skipping this one and going to Harbour View or Victory blvd in Portsmouth next time . Get it together people it’s a THREE ingredient. Maybe 4 with the turbinado sugar 🤦‍♂️

I got three smoothies and one of them just didn’t taste quite right and the guy who works there made me a different one and when I say it was the best smoothie I’ve ever had from tropical smoothie! Idk his name but he’s got a little sass in him but I’m telling you because of him I’ll be back for sure!

First and last time going here. I ordered online. Go to pick up the order and the smoothie is sitting in a cube. I asked how long had it been sitting there and was told since I ordered it. That was a hour and half prior with a scheduled pickup time. I asked could she remake it cause it was just sitting out and not refrigerated. I watched her literally pour the drink back into the blender and add more ice and try to hand it back to me. I told her i didn’t want it and asked if she could remake a fresh one. She stated she “refreshed” it. I asked for a manager. No manager on duty. She takes it back and not 15 secs later a different worker brings the same drink back to me and says if a manager was there, they’d do the same thing.
Ridiculous to give someone a drink that’s been sitting out for over a hour without being refrigerated and then to just add more ice like that’s supposed to fix it. I’m a trop fan but I refuse to ever use this location again. That was completely unacceptable.
Then I open my food and it looks like this. Won’t get me again.

The people there were super nice. But I have this quesadilla regularly (not from this location) and I was shocked that it was so bad. It was burnt and almost empty inside. I ordered two and thought one was a fluke, but no, it was both. It had next to no filling for a 3 cheese chicken quesadilla. It was like eating two pieces of burnt tortilla together- no cheese or chicken

Just go elsewhere seriously. It’s always something. Last week someone took both my pre paid for, ordered on app smoothies from cubie. Asked if I sent someone to get it. Uggghhh no. Then another instance ordered on app for specific time n it was NOT Ready n others who just walked in got before me. Final straw. I never add sugar to my smoothie. EVER. They add sugar then say it’s what came on the ticket. Only problem is my ticket says NO TURBINADO. Yea save the hassle

Edit. They remade it and added orange juice to it but I’m allergic to orange juice. It literally says no orange juice too. Geez

A QUIET Tropical Smoothie! Didn’t know such a thing could exist lol All the awesomeness of Tropical Smoothie food and drink without the loud noises of the blenders going! This location has all their prep in a kitchen with walls to buffer the sound, and the ceiling isn’t open to rafters like most locations either. Great option for getting your Tropical Smoothie fix if you’ve a migraine or someone with you that doesn’t do well with loud noises (like small children).

The one young black lady with glasses is phenomenal! She always has my order ready to go. If I dont see her there, I won't order. Without her working, I wait over 15 minutes for a smoothie bowl...and I order through the app

Smoothie was just ice. Food is always cold. Spent 40 in there and waited 25 mins for the food. Total rip off if the owner doesn't make your food and smoothie. Everything it gets busy you can see the employees getting nervous and that's when the food and smoothies go to hell. I spend about $200 a MONTH in there but I can't do it anymore. So I tried today 4/25/25 to give this place another chance. Damn was that a mistake. LEARN how to blend a smoothie! Stop selling $7.00 cups of damn ice!!!

Pleasant experience

I have ordered from this place 21 times and I have even placed in the notes not to forget my straws am I purchased edible straws each time. Now they send this to me with no straws at all. This is the worst managed place I have ever seen. Quesadillas were put in the bag sideways so they spilled all over the place and everything came out of them. When I go there the service is really bad nobody's smiling there's no happiness or nothing in that place. Sadly today they sent my smoothies and my food home to me with no straws no plastic Wares and this is my last time ever and I mean ever getting anything from this place. The manager clearly does not give a care in the world.
