I've been going to this Tropical smoothie cafe for 7 years. The customer service is amazing. Today, I ordered my usual Bahama momma, and I didn't even get to drink half of it. I found three metal fragments in it. I took it back and received another one.

Went to this place last week and had to get my smoothie remade over. It didnt have any flavor it tasted just like ice and the remake did too. Tried it again yesterday unfortunately and it tasted like whatever is used to clean the blenders, very strong and foul after taste. I even had a coworker to try to make I wasn’t overreacting. I came back to get a refund I was told “no refunds”. Cashier remade it and it still taste the same have had a headache since.

I always order pick up online at the Hampton location (the one closest to me) and when I got to the store I realized that for whatever reason this one particular time it sent the order to this location in Chesapeake instead of my normal location. I don’t know why it did that As this has never happened before and I’ve ordered pick up many times. I thought no problem I’ll just call them and have it canceled and re-order at the right store. The store manager at the Chesapeake location told me on the phone that they could not refund me my money because the smoothie was already made and that I would just have to pick it up. I told him that I live in Hampton so I wouldn’t be able to pick it up. He said the best he could do was come back next week and his employee would give me a free smoothie. I already told him I live in Hampton. I’m not driving 40 minutes away for a smoothie. As much as I spend at tropical smoothie they should have either transferred my order or refunded me my money. This is terrible customer service. They basically just stole nine dollars from me.

Love this place, it’s always so clean. Aaron (I’m not sure if the spelling) was great !! I wanted Something new and they recommended me their favorite smoothie and it was DELICIOUS!! Thank you for your great costumer service!!

I placed an order at 720ish this morning so I could get energized before our big moving day. I placed the order and then left my house and it was ready on the pickup shelf when I arrived. I ordered 2 smoothies and one was a breakfast combo and paid $20. The smoothies are huge and the wrap was a very good size as well! I am very impressed with the prices. I got the Avocolada and Peanut butter cup smoothies and the Pb banana crunch wrap. I love the avocolada and the wrap!! Such great flavor and the wrap has granola which is such a nice crunch added to the pb and banana. The pb cup smoothie is good but I'm not sure if it was just made incorrectly but it basically tasted like chocolate and banana, no pb. Hoping it was a one time thing but I will definitely be back! Super quick and easy and delicious!

Food is great and smoothies are fantastic!! It's customer service: one day I went in there and gentlemen ask me to "leave a tip if you want too" after other coworker left our sight to go into the back food area and start eating as me and wife was deciding on what to get from menu. Plus you never ask someone to leave a tip. Customers has an option in life to be generous or not, not to be asked to leave a tip.

I wanted to go to this location to avoid the Victory crosssing location for lack of customer service but the little Indian woman that owns this location & works in the morning is horrible. She doesn’t acknowledge you when you walk it. Everything is just thrown together! My Bahama mamas have next tasted the same, the one I got today doesn’t even taste like a Bahama mama, let alone anything.. just air & pineapples. She’s lucky I had to be at work or I would’ve asked for my money back. Idk if she doesn’t want to work or is in a rush but gawwwwleeee! Can we get something done about this! These two locations are the only ones close to me & they lack soooo much entirely! Makes me sad cause I love tropical smoothie but it’s way too expensive to lack so much quality & have rude customer service.

This location has the worst customer service in the area! The cashier charged us for the wrong order! When we stated we wanted our order corrected the cashier insisted we were wrong shrugged us off to another employee who continued to tell us our order was correct even though It was not. We’ve ordered the same smoothie at different locations with no issue. They didn’t offer any type of resolution or even bother to service us anymore to say our food order was ready.

I dread going to this location. My GPS told me the Harborview location was closer and I should’ve actually gone there. I’m sure they would’ve possessed more professionalism. The little Indian woman who manages the store is very disrespectful and lacks professionalism completely. I asked her about menu item, and she seemed very irritated. If I have questions about the ingredients It shouldn’t be hard to explain if substitutes can be available. Also, I was very well aware that the store provided a military discount and when I asked her about it, she huffed and said if you use a military discount you won’t be able to get points. I instructed her to cancel the whole transaction because she was being very rude. At that point she said I will give you the military discount. Neither of the discount nor the points matter. It was the lack of customer service throughout the store. Two of the associates were sweeping when I walked in and in the process of me ordering, she instructed them to come help in the kitchen area, and those associates didn’t even wash their hands, I promise you I’d never be at that location again!!

Super hot day, so I was craving a smoothie. Service was reasonable and preparation was fast but omg the smoothie was oh so bad! I knew I should have went to my normal tropical smoothie in N.N. Which I'm a regular there. The smoothie was hard to drink and I could not drink it because of taste. Hopefully it was just a bad batch and the quick service that resulted in the taste of my smoothie. It was fairly crowded so I must have just caught them at a bad timing however I'm reluctant to try again
