OMG, this will definitely be the last time coming here. Service was terrible ordered the bacon,egg, cheese sandwich and hash browns and and the got order wrong, had to remake sandwich, never offered refill coffee had to literally ask cashier to get us water and coffee. We will never come back to this Waffle house.

1. Took ten minutes to get any service. 2. Scrambled eggs were overcooked. 3. Staff spent all their time talking amongst themselves ignoring the patrons. 4. One server (female) spent all of her time looking at her phone. 5. The Strawberry Waffle Special is inedible. 6. Was never asked for a refill on coffee or soda. 7. My order was incorrect on the hash browns, not smothered and covered and the bacon was way overcooked.
Used to really enjoy this place. Never again.

I don’t normally put Google reviews, however, I wanted to do this because I am a firm believer that we can all improve. I had always loved the Waffle House on Portsmouth blvd. Went there often, was served quickly, and had a friendly staff. I even had a birthday party there and had a blast. However, this Waffle House has declined in customer service drastically within the past two months. Back in March, I went to this Waffle House and didn’t even get greeted until 15 minutes after walking in the door. The staff complained of being tired and overworked, however, there were only 1-2 other couples in the restaurant. A group of teenagers came in and they turned them down. It took over an hour to get our food. Last night, I went back to this Waffle House to try it again. There were people inside dining but the staff opened the sliding window and said they were doing takeout only. I understand exhaustion, however, you should not let it impact how you treat and respect your customers. I along with many others, are a big fans of Waffle House, so I hope in the future this location can have an improvement in customer service.

Yes I know Amazon warehouse is near but plz save ya time n money coming here. They say they got a lot of orders n a hr time but they don’t. I’m a truck driver n seen ppl go in and out. They serve who they wanna. Not going to speak wats going on here but it’s obvious!!!! Just sad. Just a driver who wanna get food

Don't use this location---The staff was friendly when we first walked in. We were greeted and told that someone would take our order twice instead of someone just taking my order. I was about to walk out when I saw the staff huddled together looking at a cell phone while I was STILL waiting for my order to be placed!!! How rude! The place was empty and there was at least 9-10 employees. This was unacceptable service.
