Nobody was at the drive-thru and waited five minutes after they finally told us to hold on. Then after a few more minutes of waiting, I asked if it was faster for us to come inside and they said yes. Went inside and there was one customer (total) and two people behind the counter. One older gentleman doing all the work while a younger guy sat there looking at his phone trying to hide, while complaining loudly that he was going to leave. The alarm from the fry oil was blaring and the smoke was filling the air. When the older gentleman finally was able to get to us, his hands were shaking. I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing from this young person, totally leaving his much older coworker on his own to make everything while he sat there hiding, looking at his phone. The food was burnt and fries were extremely overcooked… obviously. We will never go back to this location at night and suggest others consider the same.

Its a fast food restaurant on a busy bypass road. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Plenty of parking and the drive through moves at a good pace. The lobby stays organized but not always clean. The food is Wendy's quality, as expected.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed. Always.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair friendly.

Waiting for 5+ minutes at the register to place my order, cashier was rude and obviously didn’t want to be there, made me not want to be there either. Wife didn’t get what we ordered, and my burger said one price on the menu and a different higher price on the receipt. I’d say at least the food was edible, but there was a piece of plastic inside my burger, presumably from a package bag or lid. Sadly this type of service is becoming typical of many Wendy’s across different locations.

Purchased two kids meals after 4pm so got the 1.99 deal. When I was handed my bags I realized there were no toys inside. Went back inside to get the toys and was told the Halloween toys were "too expensive" to put in them. And then that they were all out. Honestly couldn't believe it. I go to the grassfield wendys all the time and have never been told this.

Jason, the young man who waited on us, was exceptional! Too bad the rest of the staff weren't like this former Marine! He actually cares about his job and the customers. Sadly, no one else did. He did say he hasn't been living there long. I hope the nastiness of his fellow employees doesn't rub off on him. Maybe his infectious smile, kind heart, and sweet soul will eventually rub off on the nasty people he's working with. And something needs to be done with this food. Both myself and the person with me got extremely sick from eating at this Wendy's! We've never gotten this sick from any restaurant before! It's totally ridiculous and uncalled for!!
THANK YOU, JASON!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY AND FOR YOUR KINDNESS DURING OUR VISIT TO THE ESTABLISHMENT YOU WORK AT, YOURE A SWEET YOUNG MAN!

Why does every car have to wait 15 minutes to order?? There is no one in front of us and no line. This is my third time coming here with it like this. Is this not a drive through? Fast food service??

Stopped in on our way from Chesapeake to NC today (Sept. 1, 2024, 2:30 pm). Rest room was clean (and I thought that might be a good indicator of decent food). BUT I WAS WRONG! I had walked up intending to order fries to go, just in time to watch the person at the fry station use tongs to put fries in their hand and then smash them into their mouth making full on contact with their lips. Some fell from those lips, and it looked like the person was trying to make sure they fell back into the bin instead of onto the floor. I walked out and DID NOT place an order after seeing that!! (What might go on there when there are no customers around to witness these things??)

After waiting inside at the counter for 11 minutes, no one had even acknowledged our presence. Not a “We’re short staffed” nor a “We’ll be right with you”. Like come on, it’s the simple things.

We stopped here for lunch on Sat. Aug. 17 during our trip home from our Outer Banks vacation. After we placed our order, the gentleman at the window asked if we would pull forward a bit because there was a bit of a wait. That wasn't unusual because we were feeding five people and an order that large can take a little longer than average. Not two minutes later, a young man came out, handed us our food, and apologized for the wait. That wasn't much of a wait, but I definitely appreciated the gesture -- that's customer service that is generally lacking. The order itself was 100% accurate, hot, fresh, and delicious! Job well done!

Crispy chicken BLT biggie bag w/a drink. They were out of just about every drink so we got sweet tea but they were out of that too so, they gave us unsweet. I guess they thought we wouldn't notice. The chicken and bacon were hard and tasted old. The bacon almost broke my tooth so I had to get rid of it. The nuggets tasted old as well. The cashier didn't let us know they were just about out of all soft drinks, had we known we would have gotten lemonade. Absolutely the worst Wendy's we've ever been to without a doubt. Definitely won't go back. The only thing that wasn't bad were the fries. We should have gone to Taco Bell next door and I don't really like Taco Bell but it would have been better than this swill.

Food was old and hard. Bacon was so hard I had to take it off the sandwich completely. Chicken for the sandwich was also old and crunchy. Fries were ok. They were out of sweet tea and everything in the fountain is unavailable with the exception of a few diet options. We were not told prior that the fountain machine was practically empty or I would have changed my drink choice. The one time I don't read the reviews before stopping somewhere. You're better off just going to the tacobell next door

This is by far the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. Over 20 minutes between ordering and when the food actually came. Avoid at all costs
