Horrible attitude of the owner. It shows how she should not be in customer service. Food sucks! Go to Maymar in Va bch or Norfolk or Kainan because they are friendly and the food is superb. This place is a big mistake to dine in or take out.

Wanted to try this place out in Chesapeake. You go in and there's nobody there to greet you. You have to ring the bell. I get my usual pork adobo and pinakbet. It was good. The adobo had that pool of cooking oil, so I knew it was going to be good. Pinakbet wasn't too bad. Of course, some Shanghai lumpia was in addition. Pancit wasn't bad, but needed a lemon. And washed it down with a slice of cassava cake. Ooou, that's oh so good! Not too bad for Chesapeake.
Winnie's Filipino Kitchen has great food. I have tried almost everything there and it's always delicious. I especially like the fish dishes as well as the mung bean soup. Outstanding pancit too.

This was our first time here. Pretty new to the area and this was the first Filipino restaurant we found near by. At first walking into the restaurant you are entered into a fabulous display from wall to wall of Filipino products and other Asian grocery products. Very neat and clean. Then you walk up to a point point counter and all the food seamed to be just made. All was wrapped in cling wrap so couldn’t make out what it was. Pricing was excellent. As we looked at the prices and food a person came out from the back. No smile or anything. Be o friendly greeting. We began to tell the person what we wanted. I got the longanisa and menudo with rice. My wife had some fish and chicken adobo. The longaniza was hard and dry. The menudo was a little oily. I think I will still make the voyage to Jollybee or Red Ribbon. The host who served us was very rude and not friendly. We are Filipino as well and try to support our fellow Filipinos but when your rude and cold. Don’t expect to get much support from us. Might give it a try again but time will tell.

called the rude owner of this establishment and asked what she have for menu her reply was "marami kami ulam punta na lang kayo" so I said I'm asking so I don't have to make a trip if she doesn't have Laing and her reply was "I have it for 4 days you didn't come" this rude lady have a very serious proble. just close your restaurant if you doesnt have any good customer service in your body! Rude ass!
