Hands down, the best sushi and customer service in all of Chesapeake! This is my daughter’s go-to spot with me whenever she’s in town. Ordered 2 rolls for pick up. The sushi rice was super dry. Made the secrions of the roll fall apart in pieces. The texture of the rice was nearly crunchy. It was too expensive for it to be this poorly done. This was my first time having yama Chen and since there is so much competition out there - it’s probably my last time.
Its a nice atmosphere and a lot of selections to choose from. Always good food. Staff is friendly and attentive. Adamame, fried gyoza, spring rolls, teriyaki chicken meal, spicy California roll and the crazy Yama roll were delicious today.
