It has been 4 years since I visited Chesapeake. Back then I would order 6-10 calzones or Stromboli's to take home and freeze. Order one today. It came in a smaller container, and cost at least $8.00 more. Jackie and I used to split one now we would need to order two (2). Yes there has been some inflation but compared to other places they are almost twice the cost and half the product. Inflation does not explain the cost increase. Only greed can explain it.

This is honestly the best resturant experience I've had in virgina in 4 years of living here. The waiter calleb is excellent as his job and kept me entertained while I dined(in full honesty i think he deserves a raise?) and I defenitly come back for more just because the atmosphere, food and your server is superb at what he does. The experience was splendid thank you.

Came in for 2 slices and garlic knots, I waited 25 minutes. There was 10 people waiting for there food. As the manager was flirting with the wait staff, instead of helping out the takeout staff.

Food is excellant and portions large. Waitress forgot our drink orders, and had to be reminded by manager.

Womp womp. I went during happy hour. I ordered a margarita. The server told me the bar was dry of liquor but they have beer. So I ordered a yuengling. The server asked me what that was. I told her it was a beer. She said she didn't know if they had those. I showed her the yuengling on the menu. She went to the table next to me to get their order. The customers asked her why there were two different menus. She said that one was updated and the other was not. The customers asked which one was the updated one. She struggled to answer. Finally she said the higher prices menu was the updated one. I waited for a little while and watched a video on my phone. My beer hadn't arrived. I looked around and saw my server talking to another server. I went ahead and walked out. Grabbed dinner at a different restaurant. No way was I able to endure that service.

The music was very good but it was like eating in a refrigerator with no service. No bread with our meal? 3.50 for a drink?

The margarita pizza was horrible. Chunky canned tomato pie is what it tasted like. The Italian pizza tasted like Costco pizza with tripple the price tag. The water tasted like metal as well. My waiter also only showed up twice the entire hour and a half i was there (an hour of which was waiting for the waiter) This place used to be good. I don't know what happened! I don't think I'll ever come back. I rank this below Little Ceasars.

Caleb is a peach, an absolutely wonderful server! His sense of humor and menu suggestions are a main reason for me to come back. If you don’t give him a raise I’ll cry into my pizza next time I come in

Pizza is great, customer service is great, they hosted my little brothers wedding party and did an awesome job !
Unfortunately the last two times we have ordered food here...it's been a disaster from start to finish. We ordered our food last month and after waiting for over an hour... we called to find out why it was taking so long... my husband was informed that they had tried to contact us multiple times about our order... and stated it was cancelled because they couldn't get ahold of us.. first no one called us.. we only have our cell phones and neither rang.. second they offered no explanation as to why they "tried to call" and then why it was cancelled... they said they would refund us, make it again and have it to us soon.. like another 40 mins goes by and we called again just to be told it was still in the oven but wouldn't be much longer.... they offered desserts and my husband declined... after like 2 1/2 almost 3 hrs of waiting our food arrived and it wasn't good at all. My meal came with the wrong noodles.. my portion was small and somehow my parm was cold and yet over cooked at the same time. Tonight I ordered myself and again my portion was half of what it use to be and my chicken parm was again dry and overcooked. I think I'm done trying to give this place a chance. Very disappointed in the quality lately. I'm all for being understanding... but this is a bit much.

Wow is really all I can say. This used to be one of our favorite Ynot locations. Our party was there an hour. They are extremely understaffed. Which I know is hard. Took forever to get drinks. Another 20 minutes to order. Friends of the staff must have been having a party there. People came to the bar and ordered drinks and appetizers after we did. They started getting plates upon plates of food while we had nothing. We also ordered appetizers. Two other tables walked out before us. Never before have I walked out of a restaurant until now. The dessert display, which used to be full was basically empty. I’m not sure who runs this location but it needs serious help. We walked over to Metro Diner and had an amazing experience. I can’t say anything about the food because we were not served anything.

Went here with a friend, told them the chop salads were amazing (I've had it at the Kempsville and Great Neck locations). Friend ordered one, I got a garden salad and a couple slices. I was FINISHED EATING by the time my friend's salad came out and, despite there being a written checklist, had the wrong meat (my garden salad was also wrong - asked for no tomatoes or olives and it had both). We ended up going somewhere else for her to actually eat instead of waiting 40 minutes for another salad. We were two of probably 10 patrons in the dining room at the time, too. Salad and soda were comped, but overall poor experience at this location. Will stick with Kempsville.

Wow. I would not let my grandmother eat at this location. Halfway through eating the gelato my friend’s little girl found a dead fly in her ice-cream. We let the waitress know and she simply responded with, “I’m sorry would you like more?” More contaminated gelato?! No thanks mam. We asked to speak to the manager and a young, maybe 17 year old, ratatouille chef wannabe came to our table and stated “sooo ummmmmmmmm”. We simply advised him of the issue and he responded by saying there’s no way the fly got into the icecream in the case and implied we put it there to get the icecream free. We could have cared less about a $5 cup of gelato but were more concerned about other customers ingesting contaminated food. So disappointed in the lack of respect for customers concerns or well being. Who knows what else they are letting slide in the kitchen.

My daughter recommended this place and I'm glad she did. I'm from New Jersey and it's hard to find good pizza since I've moved to Virginia. But my oh my Ynot you have made my day. I felt like I was back home. I got a slice of pizza is was crispy, thin and tasty remind me so much of the pizza up north. I also got the wings and a steak and cheese which all were delicious. Looking for something sweet, i would definitely recommend the red velvet cake. It is a bit pricey but worth every bite. Thank you Ynot for making my visit to Chesapeake one I will never forget. I will be returning when I'm in the area.
